a full X-men film has higher strands to be held than a solo film.especilly a film which is direct sequel to one of my favorate comic book films of all times.about only thing brett ratner did well was casting ellen page as kitty.Matthew vaughn casted kelsey grammer as
beast before he left film so ratner had nothing to do with that.

Wearing my X-Men hoodie tonight been waiting over a year to break it out

12 hours and 31 minutes for me.

I'm glad craigdbfan enjoyed it. I'm still lowering my expectations quite a bit though.

Seems like it was only yesterday that I was in Montreal watching footage from the movie. Oh how I miss Montreal!

I agree, I dislike Last Stand far more than Origins.

Origins is a harmless solo outing(especially now that Deadpool has been released), that is full of laughs, because of how awful it is lol.

The Last Stand was meant to be taken seriously, as a trilogy capper, and completely failed. Even within the first 20 minutes I knew I would hate it.

No one can tell me that stupid Last Stand Danger Room sequence is better than anything in Apocalypse. There's absolutely no possible way I will ever like The Last Stand more than Apocalypse.

we agree.there is no defending how they did deapool in origins.and i never read deadpool solo comics i knew deadpool from his introduction at end of the new mutants run and his appearances in X-force and wolverine comics and even back in 2009 i thought it was bad idea.origins opening montage is very entertaining.and they had a very good sabretooth.which made up for fact they miscast younger stryker in origins.last stand is very overstuff film.
Apocalyps ehas a lot like there should be in X-men but it is handled far better than last stand.I agree there is a bit of homage to the animated shows In Apocalypse.

Yeah, that isn't news. "Yeah, I'd like to do it" is hardly any confirmation that it will happen.

That is a such a nice photo, that entire scene was so warm and full of feels.

But still no to OT cast.

That's the last thing anyone needs.

Speak for yourself. :whatever:

So far two people, now three (me) want to see that happen versus two who don't. You can do a poll if you want, but chances are more would love to see it than those who don't if simply for nostalgic reasons.

Yeah that's not confirmation at all, his response just makes it sound even more so that there ain't any plans to go back to them, you don't "hope" something will happen if you are sure it will happen one day.

Add me to the list of people who don't. Every scene with the old cast in the future will limit what they can do with the young cast.

The original Cast is the most iconic, need once last movie.

That article really angered me actually.

So now Bryan "regrets" shirking his directorial responsibilities by not finishing X-Men: The Last Stand? And now he wants to bring the original cast back together for another hurrah even though he wasted the opportunity he had with the actors in Days Of Future Past? :whatever::whatever::whatever:

I just wish he and Simon would go sit the hell down somewhere and stop touching things.

These people truly have no idea WHAT they're doing or where they want this franchise to go. There's no map, no plan. It's just a bunch of "Well, let's try this and see if they like it." They don't give a damn about continuity, or any kind of tonal consistency. FOX's X-Men films are made by people who don't actually care about the comics or characters. They are "executives" who just want ownership of a franchise but have no respect for the content.

It's gotten so silly now that the series has become a joke. Stop. Just...stop.

I'm with you 2...

One more movie with the OT cast...a movie to say goodbye to the cast highlighting the best of each character and completely a love-letter to X-fans.

A movie simply to entertain.

I always thought about a plot about a mutated Senator Kelly returning with other mutates bent on destroying all mutants for what was done to them by Magneto.
