One more movie with the OT cast...a movie to say goodbye to the cast highlighting the best of each character and completely a love-letter to X-fans.

We've been waiting for 16 years for that. It never came. And it's not coming from this studio. It's time to stop holding our breath and let it go.

Oh brother... it's obvious that Bryan just said that to keep everyone happy, but he should've just said that they are focusing on the new cast now.

One more movie with the OT cast...a movie to say goodbye to the cast highlighting the best of each character and completely a love-letter to X-fans.

A movie simply to entertain.

I always thought about a plot about a mutated Senator Kelly returning with other mutates bent on destroying all mutants for what was done to them by Magneto.

See that sounds like a lovely movie. If they had done it before Days of Future Past. The last thing we need now is to have another movie in the future that we're moving towards. Anything the characters say or do in a movie like that is another potential continuity error waiting to happen. Eventually the young versions will catch up to the present and then they'd have to line up with what this OC movie would have done. It would become a complete mess again.

DOFP was such a great send off. We don't know what a new movie with the old cast would be like. I still love them though.

When FOX released Fant4stic last summer just for the contractual power play I realized then just how stupid some of these movie executives are. I wouldn't put doing anything ridiculous past them. They give zero f***s.

I am skeptical of another film headlining the original cast for simple reason
of hugh jackman says he is done after wolverine.and my thinking is if they
want to try to try money at him to get him to change his mind they are more likely to do it for a 1990's set film with apocalypse cast.

The bigget stars of OT are Jackman,Patrick Stewart,and Ian Mckellen.Obviously
Famke Janssen,halle Berry,Anna Paquin,and Ellen Page are all well known.

I don't feel it would hurt the franchise.DOFP has versions in new contunity played by them.Creativly you can have another film set in future with them and continue doing films with young cast set In 1990's.

Unlike some it's not hatred towards original films.X2 remains my favorate X-Men film.and i like X-Men more than First Class.

I personly think next year's wolverine solo film is last chance for original
cast to be seen Inless they think they need to try to lure jackman back for phoenix and dark phoenix.In theory they could use indivual members of
original cast In deadpool sequel or gambit or X-force.however i am skeptical
of that.

If bryan SInger directs more X-men after 20,000 leagues under the sea i think it's more likely he does phoenix and dark phoenix with apocalypse cast than does another film with original cast.

I PRAY all you Americans (and Canadians?) going to see it for the first time enjoy it more than I did. As an X-Men lover I hated being disappointed so I hope nobody else has to go through that trauma

The movie was awesome. Perfect. I don't get why anyone would be disappointed.

I've never been one of the fans who needs the OT cast to return. Because I loved the FC-Apocalypse trilogy. But I think the biggest mistake fox made besides origins and last stand was making FC. Now I love FC but they boxed themselves in the moment they went into the past. And then DoFP had to rectify the mistakes of last stand and origins while keeping everything from FC in line which it did.

Fox really back when they greenlit FC should've made X-Men 4. Have it be the start of the sentinel issues and then end in war. The the DoFP movie. DoFP do what it did and send whoever back in time to change history and then we have Jean and Cyclops back alive and then they could've done apocalypse. If Fox were smart that's what they should've done from the beginning. But anyway we still have FC and DoFP which were incredible movies but not in a way they're a little stuck. I personally loved apocalypse even with its flaws but they need a serious shake up. The exact shake up we thought DoFP would be for them but they went on with the same formula. An OT return just wouldn't make much sense now and I don't know if the audience will care enough to follow with the new younger versions. We have to see how Apocalypse will fair in BO and overall audience reaction.

Perfect is a slight exaggeration...

Maybe in your opinion though. I think it's not terrible but it is not great either. I was disappointed overall.
