IMDB lists them as War, Pestilence, Famine and Death.. Death being the one who shields Apocalypse until her end. I much preferred them over the X-Horsemen.

You know the thing with that is, those were seasoned horsemen who were probably with Apocalypse for years. He just threw this new team together and hoped for the best lol.

I just saw the film and Kinberg can't be the only one to blame. Singer stretched himself beyond his capacity. I found the blue screen work startlingly fake for the kind of budget this film has. The wirework was appalling. Oscar Isaac was completely buried in the costume and failed to give a compelling performance.

These are all on Singer. The script is flawed, but a different director would've made a more exciting film out of it.

singer (and this franchise for that matter) has always done horrid wire work...

Yeah X-films always have some of the worst wire work on screen. It's truly disgraceful some scenes (Storm's elevator scene rings a bell).

And what's with Singer/Fox's love affair with Stryker? I loved Cox's performance as Stryker in X2. But enough is enough for the love of God. Let Stryker go away.
Lol Helman is sexy though:hmr: but i don't think we'll see him in another ensemble XMen film possibly Wolverine solo film. You know when Singer/Kinberh like an actor character then will using them over and over. By next film I'm hoping a lot of these repeat characters drop off and we focus on Jean,Ororo,Scott,Kurt and Jubiliation
I also thought Isaac did a fantastic job. He's no Magneto, but I liked Apocalypse. He carried most of the early movie for me.
I agree he really nailed the role even throughout all that makeup.

Yeah I said this earlier: I think Singer and the principal cast showed up and did a good job, but they were let down by a very underwhelming screenplay.

There was an interview with McAvoy and Lawrence where they basically said there were some dodgy lines in the movie/script.

Hmmm...luckily I'm not a huge SW fan.
Simon Kinberg: Yeah, I'm writing a STAR WARS film. I am going to be writing and producing one of the STAR WARS films that I can't say which one. But yes, to answer your question, yes, I would consider it because it's a part of my not so distant future.

Yes that was a mess, I'm hoping eventually they get it right because it is messy most of the time.

ive been saying it for ages.. but Storms cape needs to be CGI... it needs to fully balloon and catch wind.. and properly move to appear as if its helping her balance and have lift... instead it just flaps like a dime store halloween costume...

Wow.
Yeah, Kinberg ain't the best screen writer. Glad I have no affection for SW either.

Pretty certain its Boba Fett, which Trank was likely to be working on until he blew up his career. And Kathleen Kennedy won't let Kinberg pick the director this time.

Can anyone explain what happened to Mystique taking Wolverine away in Days of Future Past?

"Dime store Halloween costume" lmao I'm all the way done lol.
It would be interesting to see a CGI costume to give it some volume but they still have to get better wirework or it'll still mess it up. Im so curious what look they are giving her next.

The finale of the first X-Men movie is completely ruined by the shoddy choreography and wire-work. Terrible.

I was complaining about that while walking out of the theater and another guy behind me that I didn't know was like "I know right!?"

X1 is a movie that feels cheap in so many regards. Sabertooth looks awful, as well. I know it was in the early days of CBMs, but even so.

there really hasn't been any movement on boba fett since Trank was booted. I'm willing to bet its all but scrapped and going to merge with Han Solo.

Simon will be likely to get anything but a small credit for the film when its all said and done

See storm and Magneto typically fly with sort of a majestic presence.. so i don't think wire work is really wrong for them... it should be softer unless in heated battle. but yes, storms cape needs to be CGI.. not the costume, just the cape

Eh, pretty certain the Boba Fett movie is still in their stockpile of ideas. And just searching out the right talent. I doubt they would've moved Kinberg, though. This isn't like Marvel, the Anthologies don't have to follow a set order and can easily be moved around.

Forget Storm, Beast in this movie wasn't leaping, he was floating. I don't remember it being this bad in DOFP.

i'm well aware they can be moved around.. im just saying the films will likely be merged into one. Just like how X-Men Origins: Magneto and X-men First Class were merged into "X-men First Class" as we know it.

I mean... Boba Fett is kinda Han's arch nemesis anyway.

A blunt plot hole.

[BLACKOUT]Wolverine is captured by Stryker anyways. The real one. There is absolutely no attempt to explain why Mystique didn't have him. [/BLACKOUT]

How awful is it when a franchise erases its terrible continuity and starts again clean, only to create another hole with the next one.

beast has just been outright terrible the entire franchise as well..

Kelsey did the best job, his voice and attitude were spot on.. the look kinda wasn't though (at least for me) Hoult's beast had the nice origin of his blue fur.. but beyond that he's been hardly the beast we know and love, in looks, acting, movement.. etc...

he really needed to be CGI too or at least played by a very bulky guy... Beast i feel like he needed to be created by whoever works with Guillermo del Toro..

the amusing part is Mystique didn't even have to be the one rescuing him.. it could have just been stryker himself.. hinting at his appearance in Apocalypse.. and all would have made perfect sense.
