I thought this was a discussion board for a split second and you were taking part in either the comment above you or the one prior. Not posting with the intent of nobody replying back.

Did I say you couldn't reply to me? I was saying what you replyed was inaccurate portrayal of my words and that you were implying i was directly responding to your post.

You don't have to be so defensive.:loco:

Likewise Jaymes. This was a very odd exchange even for this thread.

That you started...:p

But in all seriousness I don't know why it escalated the way it did.

Same, crips high fives. :highfive:

Moving on, Fox's universe ain't going anywhere anytime soon. Too much planned and all will be hopefully executed well. Giving us something new for everyone.

DavidHaller, I thought you hated Apocalypse? Or are you talking about Singer's movies more generally?

yes, I really loved "Days of Future Past" and I think "Apocalypse" was a shocking disappointment through and through. The movie entirely collapsed after the Cerebro scene. I still cannot believe this was the same Singer who created this dumb, uninspired ******** without character motivations, plot, political subtext, satisfying aesthetic or good action scenes. I'm totally with the critics on this one...but I thought "Deadpool" was worse and got very dull and one-note after 15 minutes...

sorry, I'm still angry how disappointing "X-Men: Apocalpyse" turned out to be. :csad:

In collider heroes during twitter questions they continue to be doom and gloom
on X-Men https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=gaCRpO3uK-8

they seem to think gambit is dead although they may not be wrong on that.

one bring up because of SPider-man fox may do something similar in far future

they seem to think Fox will scrap X-Men films to do deapool sequels and
X-force and new mutants films.which would be terrable idea.

I don't understand this obsession with some on just a film with original 5 when you consider in comics X-Men didn't become big till characters like wolverine,
storm,Colossus,and Nightcrawler.

one riases doing a 65 million X-Men film.we had a low budget X-Men film already.and that was original X-men film.the film that gets snubed by many because of low budget even though it was more X-men than first class was.
yes X-men didn't have any colorful costumes or large scale action sequenzes but still was more X-Men.

and arguring X-Men should be turned into streaming tv show.noone would say that about DC or marvel studios.and closest thing to that was heroes and we saw how that turned out.and legion really isn't an X-men shows.it's just comic book character of Legion with a bunch of characters invented for show.

I don't know if I believe the speculation from Collider. I mean, didn't they have a friend of Bryan Singer appear in one of their videos and had good things to say about Apocalypse before it was screened to the critics.

But yikes, if Fox is gonna stop doing "X-Men" movies in favor of X-Force/Deadpool/New Mutants. I guess the younger cast isn't really the future of the series.

Stop making X-Men movies but have faith new mutants can pull in more? something seems kinda off about that, but of course if FOX were to chicken out like that they might aswell just stick to deadpool and X-Force, just milk that deadpool machine

Totally agree

Lucky what one website says another says something completely different

http://www.australianetworknews.com...-5-reasons-sophie-turner-best-jean-grey-ever/

obviously i could go through several reviews that talk about her also

"Sophie Turner (Sansa Stark from Game Of Thrones) is very impressive as a younger version of the telepathic Jean Grey whose blessing (or curse) is to know “what everyone feels".

but i guess you can't please everything when it comes to comic book movies

Sorry but Sophie Turner looks like Sansa not like a Jean.,she is a nice girl, but a bad choice.I love like Sansa.

and the best thing is, she is young enough to play Jean Grey from now on for at least 20 years! *BAM!

A tv series for X-Men makes a lot of sense IMO. If done right. We're talking high quality and near cinematic scale. So for TV standards, it would need to be very high production value. You get a good over arcing story each season and spread it over 7-10 episodes. All while servicing a large ensemble. I could easily see something like that working. So its not such a silly idea IMO.

Yeah, I wouldn't put too much trust in whatculture, especiall when all they write are opinion pieces, crappy ones at best. They're no different from buzzfeed and gwaker. Also, one person's opinion does not mean the majority agrees, so you're argument is flawed.

You should all stop feeding Alison's severely weird Famke obsession.
