Any word on the trailer yet? If we will get it with Infinity War or Deadpool 2?

I would think the first trailer would be linked to one of those two films, we will see in about 7 day.

Trailer I'd assume best-case scenario: Deadpool 2.

Otherwise, maybe The Predator in September? :thf:

You're all forgetting Fox likes to promote at the last minute to leave a lasting impression, most likely we won't get a trailer anytime soon.

X-Men Apocalypse first trailer: December --> Came out in May

X-Men Dark Phoenix first trailer: September with The Predator --> Comes out in February

The curious thing is we actually have a trailer for New Mutants which comes out after Dark Phoenix.

they shouldnt be surprised with those opening weekend numbers then :funny:
after 18 years they still using the same marketing approach lol

I still think they will show a teaser trailer during deadpool 2
will probably be the biggest Fox movie this year, so they will not miss this opportunity.
if they do not show anything, probably and why the reshoots that will occur will change a lot in the movie, but if it's a little something, nothing will stop them from showing us anything for the next few days.

Oh they've missed plenty of opportunities..

New Mutants was supposed to be out already.. April 2018? So before Dark Phoenix.. they just kept pushing it back and now it's after DP.. that's why we got a trailer for New Mutants.

But I'm talking marketing, in the matter of trailer, the fox always put the trailer for x-men during movies with a lot of public, apocalypse for example was displayed during stars wars, this year of good options, they have IW, deadpool 2, mission impossible and jurassic world 2, then the first trailer should be displayed during any of these, if not and because of the reshoots

although nowadays with youtube and social networks, these studios do not have so much concern to show the trailer during some movie with a lot of public, the internet has become the main marketing platform.

I don't know if Bret Andrew is a credible source, but he posted some Dark Phoenix info supposedly provided by FOX production execs. I originally saw this at Bleeding Cool:

X-Men: Dark Phoenix will be the last proper Fox Marvel movie, presumably also the last in that continuity. The crew behind the camera has been thanked for their work but their services will not be needed any longer, as everything is moving to Disney. Apparently, the X-Men being integrated into the Marvel Cinematic Universe is a done deal, and merely awaiting the approval of the merger. Kevin Feige is “hoovering up” all of the Fox-Marvel characters, and is already planning for them all to go into Phase 4. This includes the X-Men, Deadpool, and Fantastic Four. In what capacity and with what actors was not discussed.

This next part is unverified, but it seems Dark Phoenix is indeed undergoing reshoots, with entire sets needing to be reconstructed that were already taken down. This is merely conjecture on my part, but I got the impression the studio is not entirely pleased with Kinberg, as he did not plan ahead enough during the actual shoot for this eventuality, so it was incumbent upon the digital effects department to “re-build” entire sets that had already been scrapped. Not good!

That's the last movie in the fox, everybody knows it
but about dark phoenix, if this news is true, we are dealing with those cases that the director likes and the studio does not.
a little strange, for those being praised by the organization

Lol. Kind of premature to tell people that "their services are no longer needed" before the ink is dry, no matter how confident they are in the merger being approved.

if not verified
Why do these journalists still post these things? Is not it better to check first?

All of the above is, aside from the fact that they are doing reshoots, which we already knew. As as Fox characters in the MCU go:

“There’s been no communication," Feige said. "We’re not thinking about it. We’re focusing on everything we’ve already announced. If and when the deal actually happens, we’ll start to think more about it. Until then, we have a lot to do.”
Also

No way that actually happened.

Aside from New Mutants and X-Force that is.

basically
this rumor has brought nothing new
just everything we already know + a hint of self-opinion.
:woot:

Maybe Josh Trank will be hired to edit or reshoot Kinberg's footage. :o

Scoop is probably true. Feige not using the Singer continuity and rebooting is a no brainer, no sense in being in denial about it

Yeah... No. Even if Feige was in communication with Disney - he would never publicly say he was, that's not not how Studio Big wigs do things. When Feige/Russos were steady negotiating with Sony to bring Spider-Man into the MCU, they were denying all the rumors of a deal happenin even though it literally was happening behind the scenes. Actors and producers lie or evade questions all the time. Most of the time, they are bound by contract not to say anything. Feige's comments are not a rebuttal to this scoop.

And do you really think Feige hasn't been keeping tabs with Disney about the prospects of this deal? One of the first things Disney president: Bob Iger mentioned was what this agreement means for the MCU, confirming that the X-Men would be incorporated into the MCU. And since the deal was announced, insider Trades like Hollywood Reporter have not only confirmed that Kevin Feige is very excited to dive into the X-Men universe but that Marvel Studios are ALREADY discussing behind closed doors - Wolverine's recasting for the MCU.

Marvel has almost certainly been in tune with Disney.

If you looked closer you would have noticed that its the other way round Bleeding Cool "copied and pasted" the information from Comic Genre.

it is true.
I had not seen it, you're right.
but the result is the same, a unique "exclusive" rumor of things that everyone already knows, the difference and only that bleedingcool has not put the part he says is not something verified.
