Some of you here are so bitter about the success of the MCU that you are making declarations about Apocalypse being the best cbm of 2016!!! LOL!!!! Not even Singer would rate Apocalypse like that. That is a whole new level of spite over your rival's success. Stop blaming Marvel for Fox mishandling and wasting the material.

You are embarrassing yourselves and you are making your opinions completely unreliable.

As for Dark Phoenix people just cling on the possibility of this universe ending on a high note that they are willing to ignore Kinberg's track record. Sorry but track records are verything in this business. It's why WB/DC is considered such a joke in making cbms.

Are u really that insecure about one persons opinion that u have immediately believe they're bitter about the MCU? Are u a psycho or something? Since when have we been blaming marvel? Are u trolling right now or what? I'm actually baffled by your post. It feels like u just came here to start a fight.

Well, Bryan Singer had a good track record with the franchise and yet still manage to direct the worst rated x-men film of the franchise with Apocalypse receiving a critical rating worst than the Last Stand. I use to go by that, track records. I thought Bryan Singer would kill it with Apocalypse after Days of Future Past and X2. I was wrong. Now I'm open to giving others a chance to show what they can do and relying less on track records, particularly when so many established directors don't seem to be putting out the same quality as they use to.

For me, MCU is wasting all the creative opus of Marvel, not FOX.

But i can undestand that someone thinks that money a movie made is the only thing that matter.
I prefer look for quality.

It's been awhile...

Any sort of good news on this production? Or we still in the same spot?

Depends on how long you've been out. There were some "leaks" on reddit from a person who (supposedly) saw the movie at a screening test. Have you seen that? It was the closest thing from news we got.

Otherwise, just the same old.

Think so, I'll go back a few and check it out.

Thanks Lip

The MCU has multiple high rated films, spread out over multiple directors and with varying tones, with no rotten movies. I'd say their "quality" is pretty impeccable.

And most importantly, the fanbase and audience are happy, unlike with the X-Men franchise.

The only one here insecure enough to bring the MCU into 8/10 of his posts is ordet because he can't handle the MCU's popularity compared to the X-men universe and he constantly mkaes it known. Even his latest quote about Apocalypse being "by far the best cbm of 2016 compared to the rest cbms" is nothing but a passive aggressive jab and it's painfully obvious.

The only here who is looking for a fight is someone who brings a rival company or throws shade to a rival company in the majority of his post becausse he doesn't dare to do this in a MCU forum.

Do you think you are protected here ordet. Go to a MCU sub-forum and see how quickly your ridiculous arguments will be demolished.

You're a wise man

The tone of this forum gets way too toxic. That needs to change. Quickly

Let's hope we get a trailer soon. At least that will provide something actually worth debating.

I think there are several ways to look at Dark Phoenix as a film...

1) Is it a good movie?

2) Is it entertaining and enjoyable to watch (lots of crappy movies can still be fun to watch - Transformers, Jurassic World, even X3, etc)

3) Is it a good X-Men movie? Does it do justice to the material from which it's adapted and the characters on which it is based? And, more specifically:

4) Is it a good adaptation of the Dark Phoenix Saga

I'm expecting this to be a well-made movie, given Kinberg's supposed producing skills, the talents of the crew he assembled and the length of the post-production process.

But whether it satisfies criteria 2, 3 and 4 is another matter.

Kinberg directing and writing is pretty much a recipe for disaster. It doesn't matter who were the crew and if the post prod took 2 years, if the script/story are bad.

In my opinion, its gonna suck as a film and an adaptation. Just like Apocalypse but way worse!

The figures look cool! I would have preferred their 90s Jim Lee costume because it is the 90s but I also loved New X-Men so I'm okay with their costume.

Jean's left hand is translucent yellow so maybe her power display is that!

The figures look real but the poster’s definitely fake. The X-Jet looks sweet, though!

I agree, the figures look legit from what we know so far, but simply because the poster says “X-Men: Dark Phoenix” instead of “Dark Phoenix” makes me think it’s suspect.

Discarded promo? the movie was supossed to be released next november...

EDIT: ...or international promo, X-men films have had an Ok performance overseas so maybe they decided to keep "X-men" in the title.

Edit2: Just noticed you're talking about the poster, well, that's a fanmade.

Yeah the poster is fake. its been going around on Twitter for a while now.

Those Figures wise, the description on the youtubers "About" page says

this channel was designed in order to show them movie promotions :) especially those from mexico, but as we are fans we also show them from other countries, I hope you like it :)

So who knows about the figures... they seem fairly well made.
