You're not special m'boy, I don't disagree with you for the sake of disagreeing. As for my 'trolling', that was a joke. The only one playing you is yourself.
Don't think that's why it was changed since soon after, Jean telepathically shielded their position from soldiers who literally walked feet from where they were hiding. So, it wouldn't have matter. I think it was re-shot to give a more emotional performance to Cyclops. Either that or the shot likely might not have looked right, and thus edited out. Story-wise, he's still reacting to the realization that his brother is dead. These shots are just two different types of reactions that Singer likely made for editing choices.Probably cause Ottman realized in the cutting room that it makes zero ****ing sense for Scott to do this without getting noticed by the people they're hiding from!!!
#Kinberg
By the way, in XMA we see a similar scene but it was deleted from the movie. Saved for Dark Phoenix?

Nah Stryker and his goons wouldve looked for the mutant, kid or otherwise, powerful enough to let out an optic blast like that.
They were not capturing all of the mutants there though. why would they go out their way to find this mutant?
what they would probably do is look around, say screw it and go.
Because with Cyclops being that powerful, Stryker et al wouldve looked for the source of the blast so the adults are not rescued later? Did you really just ask that?
It doesnt matter. Youve already admitted that Cyclops letting out a powerful optic blast that their men wouldve seen from the sky wouldve necessitated them to look for him.
Ottman editing that scene out solves the problem. The end.
man, Kinberg's friends are pretty busy and comited deffending each little critic daily on here![]()

it must be pretty exhausting lol.

You still didn't seem to grasp the main point I made, thus... rendering your comment irrelevant. It wouldn't matter how hard Stryker's team would have searched for them, even if they were supposedly drawn by Cyclops blast, if Jean can always telepathically hide themselves from view. Stryker's team won't find anybody....just as it was shown in the movie. Due to that fact, babbling on and on about this is a pointless nonsensical discussion.Nah Stryker and his goons wouldve looked for the mutant, kid or otherwise, powerful enough to let out an optic blast like that.
Kinberg didn't direct Apocalypse. Bryan Singer did. Criticism of that movie would rightly be the fault of the director in control of it. Obviously.man, Kinberg's friends are pretty busy and comited deffending each little critic daily on here![]()

You're one to talk about that when you've been going on and on over the same topic with a certain other poster.Due to that fact, babbling on and on about this is a pointless nonsensical discussion.
"Putting down"? He can go on and on about that scene until his head explodes. No one is stopping him. We can't delete his comment. It still won't change the fact that it is a pointless discussion. To bring up said issue (when there isn't really an issue- blast or mansion explosion?? Both pretty powerful attention grabbers but the mansion is literally obliterated) when it ultimately doesn't matter in outcome...is a meaningless argument. I made a logical truthful statement. Sorry if that hurts your feelings. My responses are to post others have made or those addressed to me if that is what the topic of the comment.....is. That doesn't prevent them from posting what they want. So move it right on along....and thanks. You're one to talk about that when you've been going on and on over the same topic with a certain other poster.
Not the first time that I see you putting down what other people choose to discuss. Like the time I posted some reddit spoilers. Several posters who aren't mods here try to police the board.
Anyway going back to that scene, I think the whole Stryker subplot should've been edited out, actually. Just have the X-Kids chase Apocalypse to save Xavier. Movie should've been 90 mins long at best, because let's face it, the plot comes down to Four Horsemen vs. X-Men, there's not much more to it at all.
Im not defending Kinberg and I think an optic blast to the sky wouldve been kind of cheesy in that moment, but how would Stryker know which mutant did it? He had encounters with Mystique and Beast and knew what they were capable of. Moira identified herself as a CIA agent right before being knocked out, so it makes sense why hed want her; she may have valuable information. And Quicksilver? Well, he needed to get to the finale somehow! But yeah, I dont think hed care a lot about finding the eye beam mutant when hes got much bigger fish to fry. Why not argue about how Stryker, Weapon X and Wolverines inclusion in the film is jarring, disruptive and pointless to begin with?

A #Kinberg is a #Kinberg regardless.
