Doubt it. We've yet to see any of the "new younger characters" who will likely be the 70s X-Men.

We probally know most of those In future scenes.Rebecca Romijn might still be announced.It's mostly the 1973 characters that still to be revealed.Which other first Class actors are
coming back.Are any characters from first Class not yet announced like Havok,Banshee,and Emma going to be recast due to 11 year gap?And they still have to cast someone as Nixon.Don't forget we have 13 actors confirmed.That's about size to all major role with the avengers.And more than first X-Men.

Right now, as long as Omar Sy plays Bishop, I'd be content if we don't get more major new mutant characters.

Im not exactly a fan of Dazzler, but if she is in, it would be nice, but Im all for Polaris. I think now that they introduced Havok, its the right moment to introduce her, as a really secondary role, at least, to build their relationship a little bit on the next one, and of course to connect Havok and Cyclops.

The X-men universe is so rich, so these relationships should be adressed some way or another, at least to tease them. I dont like a poor cinematic version of the x-men universe, so I hope one day or another they start caring a bit about the characters and their iconic relationships on the comics.

I know some fans dont care about this stuff and these characters, but Im sure it could be done without the need to spend a full hour teasing their connections. And this stuff can be developed in two movies, not only on one, so... why not? it would make the movie universe richer. and Im all for it.

Now marvelrobbins will post again his repeated commment about new characters bla bla bla. But no need for it. As Ive said, it can be done with a good writer and director, and with no so much time. So please, marvelrobbins, I already know your opinion, ok? lol

I read an article of possible characters Omar Sy could be, and one of the characters listed was Northstar, which I thought came out of no where. The only reason why Northstar came up was because Sy is french, and I really doubt Northstar would be in this movie.

God, I hope its not Northstar. People already complained about bringing b-list characters in First Class like Havok and Banshee. And they are bringing a C-List character like Northstar? Just go with the obvious Bishop. Bishop is also B-list but he's definitely more well-known that Northstar.

Why recast JJ as Emma because of the 11 year time change? Why mention her with the likes of a couple early 20 something actors? JJ is only a year younger than Fassbender and a year older than McAvoy. IF they recast her it wont be because she looks too young.

Maybe because Bryan Singer didn't like the choice of janaury Jones.Bryan was involved with casting of first class but Matthew vaughn still had a lot of say since he was director.Don't forget the tabloid storys of her and Vaughn.

They aren't gonna recast Jones because the reception of the fans and the critics towards her portrayal of Emma Frost. Because if thats the case, they would have done that to Storm a long time ago.

Yea that's what I was thinking too: Havok (though he isn't really blonde. But who cares! If we were to have Havok again...yawn...this is the only way I would accept it!)

I only posted it coz it had X-men First Class in the bg. I wonder why he was at the premiere. Oh and SO HOT! LOL
