I was literally just thinking about that, because of the threads on a female X-Men. I was thinking Joss Whedon could make a killer Kitty Pryde film, and Ellen Page could pull off the starring role. Disappointed to "lose" a player, even if Whedon was never in line for an X-Men property.

I'd rather wait for a great X-men film than settle for a mediocre one just so Fox can make an arbitrary date.

It has nothing to do with making Deadpool be the default franchise.

Even without X-Men, they got a killer slate, but announcing some stuff would definitely be the cherry on top of a great slate.

I hate what Fox is doing to the X-Men right now but War of Apes and Kingsman are two of my most anticipated films of the year!

untill there is news and not rumors there is nothing happening.even when there is success with logan fox won't give us nothing.and no domino casting isn't X-Men since writers keep saying deadpool isn't part of X-Men universe.

Deadpool, Domino, Cable, NTW, Colossus, Ajax, Angel Dust, Blind Al, Weasel, Vanessa etc. etc. etc. are all part of the X-Men universe, so yes, their casting does count. You can not like Deadpool but you can't keep burying your head in the sand like this.

Why do you choose to ignore that they've never said this or meant this? You're misinterpreting their comments about being in their own corner of the X-universe just because you don't like what you see. This delusion must stop.

I remember the theory that Deadpool is actually a reboot of the xmen franchise set in the MCU LOOOL. Hilarious stuff.

here is thing to consider In may of 2010 vaughn was hired for first class and filming begain at end of august.here suppossly it starts filming in june yet here
at end of march still no director.so june production start is starting to look

well they need to annouce it in any event.it's getting ridculas if x-men film is really going to go before the camers in june for no news on it.same thing

Fox wants to keep a good relationship with J-Law, and she wants a $20m paycheck in return for her usual woefully bad acting but no more blue make-up. Seems like everyone will be happy.

Hopefully this means she's not in the next X-Men movie. Let common sense prevail. Then we will be happy too. She sucks as Mystique.

I really hope Mystique is not in the next X-Men movie. I really didn't like how they made her a central character in Days of Future Past and Apocalypse when there are actual X-Men characters more deserving of major screen time

It'd be glorious if she and Magneto arent in the next film. They should also recast Beast.

Yes! Recast Hank. Too bad Kelsey is too old now, he was the only thing enjoyed in X-3.
