its clearly written in the Universal Declaration of Human Rights:

Art. 182: Its a right inherent to every human being to be allowed to kill the character Cylcops from the X-men franchise as many times as he/she wants, even if using of cruel ways to kill such person/character, such as demolecularization, burning, etc.

So im allowed by laws to kill him.
I was thinking of compiling things and create a book "How to kill Cyclops in ten easy steps/1000 ways of killing Cylcops"

I promise I'll be nice to him in my rewrite. These last few days of research gathering from the real Phoenix saga, novelization and what people have been posting in these forums is proving very informative and useful!

Bobby: Yeah. Same here. It'll be alright though. We'll get through this. -gazes off into the corner and sees a pair of skates- Kitty. come on. Get up.

Kitty: Bobby. Storm told us to stay in our rooms. what if we get caught?

I like it! It has some of that downtime and character development that the movie lacked and your version actually makes sense! X3 set up this undertone of doom that frankly ruined and made pointless whatever conflict, humor, or any other quiet scene that was there. Yours actually adresses one of the dilemna's they're facing so it adds respectability. well done!

Assumptions:

1. Scott survived his encounter with Jean at Alkali Lake, but has not been located yet. Originally assuming he was dead, Logan begins to have doubts.

2. Jean survived the battle of Alcatraz. Thanks to the love and support of all her teammates (rewrite coming soon), she was able to overcome the Phoenix persona, supress her rage, and regain control

Scene: Xavier school mansion hallways, after the battle of Alcatraz. X-Men have returned home. Logan and Storm are having a discussion in the hallways


Storm: "How is she?"

Logan: "As best as anyone could hope to be after what she's been through. It'll take time but she'll be ok. You're not pleased to hear that, are you?"

Storm: "Logan, when I asked if you were willing to do what needed to be done, I didn't have this in mind!"

Logan [angrily]: "She asked me to SAVE her, not to KILL her!"

Storm: "she's dangerous, she can't control her powers or herself"

Logan: "she'll learn. That's what this school is for"

Storm: "are you willing to take that chance?"

Logan: "Jean's been through more than anybody could imagine. She died to save all of us for God's sake! She deserves a second chance, and a break!"

Storm: "She killed Scott! She killed the Professor!"

Logan: "That wasn't Jean at the time! And I can't blame her for being angry after realizing what Charles did to her! And we really don't know what happened to Scott, do we?!"

Storm [no reaction to Logan's statement about Scott]: "How many others did she kill? That's not how this should have ended!"

Logan: "We didn't kill Magneto, did we? We didn't kill Juggernaut, did we? We didn't kill John, did we? We didn't kill a bunch of the rest who deserved to die much more for their deeds than Jean every could!"

Storm: "Logan!"

Logan: "She could have killed us easily last night and you know it! You saw what she was capable of and she spared us all!"

Storm [angrily]: "You have no idea how things may turn out now. She's a danger to us all, and we may have lost our only chance of stopping her!"

Logan [dark look in his eyes]: What would you have me do? Go to her room and kill her now? Would that satisfy your obsession with preserving the plot you've put together in your head???"

Storm [fuming].

Logan [raises eyebrow]: "The X-Men stand as a team, right?"

Storm [turns around and walks off, her eyes white. A storm is brewing over the mansion]

Ok here we go. I'll be posting these in chronological movie order as soon as I write them.

*** Scene: Scott's bedroom ***

[Scott is sitting on the side of his bed. We see from the time on the clock that it's just before dawn. He is dressed in his pajamas and wearing his shades. The light is subdued but we can see streams of tears on his cheeks]

[we hear a voice. "Scott." Then again. And again. "Scott!" Louder and louder. Scott looks up, looks around the room. We see images flashing in his head. Jean's final moments. She's overwhelmed by the water. The panicked look on her face. Her hand outstretched, calling out, screaming. Scott! Scott! Help me Scott! Help me! Scott! Scott! SCOTT! SCOTT!]

[Scott clutches his head tightly, and just as quickly the voice and images subside. He turns around and looks on his bed, his eyes lock on to something. He stares at it, leans in close and freezes. He looks astonished. He bolts upright and quickly throws on some clothes.

*** end scene ***



*** Scene: hallway in the mansion, main floor ***

[Scott walks down the hallway, wearing jeans, a pullover and a leather jacket. He has a small pack slung over one shoulder. He brushes past Logan]

Logan: Hey, Scott, they were looking for you downstairs, you didn't show

Scott [stops and turns around]: What do you care?

Logan: Well for starters I had to cover your ass

Scott: I didn't ask you to

Logan: No, you didn't. The professor did. I was just passing through.

Scott [annoyed]: So pass through, Logan

[Scott turns around to leave]

Logan: Look [grabs his arm, stops him]... I know how you feel.

Scott: Don't. Not everybody heals as fast as you, Logan

Logan: When Jean died-

Scott: [raised voice] I said Don't! Damn it Logan! Every damn night I hear her voice calling out to me! I see visions of her drowning, terrified, begging me to save her!

Logan: You've got to move on, Scott. You're gonna nuts if you keep hearing voices in your head!

Scott: Then how do you explain THIS? [violently pulls something out of his pocket and shoves it in front of Logan's face. Logan looks at it. It's the pendant Jean was wearing we saw in X2 during the museum field trip. A silver PHOENIX. He doesn't recognize it]

Logan: "What's this?"

Scott: "It's the pendant Jean wore when we went on that field trip to the museum."

Logan: "So?"

Scott: "So why the hell did I find it laying on my bed last night?"

Logan: "Scott-"

Scott: "No one could have possibly known where she kept it or what it meant! Either someone's screwing with my head or something's happening"

Logan: [pauses, raises eyebrows] You're going back there, aren't you?"

Scott: "I need answers, Logan"

Logan: "Fine, I'll cover for you. But if you find something, you better call"

Scott: [pockets the pendant and walks away]

*** END SCENE ***

Hmmm...

I like a lot of the rewrites that have been done here... showing that Scott and Jean actually had a deep relationship in their lake scene... showing that Xavier actually had respect for Cyclops in his discussion with Storm... and the like... very good rewrites of the bad dialogue... I however, am not as good with dialogue, I'm more concerned with the story progression in which some slight changes could've made big differences...

Change 1: Marie and her cure...
Location: Interior of a mutant cure facility.
Time: Early in the battle of Alcatraz
Point of Change: To make Marie into Rogue and send her to battle.

Marie walks into the clinic, nurses attending to mutant patients. Two stand out.

Carol Danvers: (speaking to male nurse) Hey cutie, what time do you get off of work.

Male Nurse: Just hold still Miss Danvers, this may sting a bit... -he dabs her arm with alcohol-

TV: As you can see the Mutant Conflict taking place at Alcatraz island seems to be escalating. We have reports of the National Guard being deployed and equipped with cure weaponry... -television shows helicopter view of Alcatraz-

-this phrase catches Marie's ear as she walks towards the empty chair next to Danvers.-

Bubba: Ah reckon, ya'll ain't seen na're a mutie tougher'n me, huh, sugar? -Bubba a large man in stereotypical overalls goes flexing his large muscles for the young petite nurse.-

TV: Here we see the Golden Gate bridge, moved by the mutant Terrorist Magneto, however, we do have reports that the National Guard has been equipped with a weaponized cure.

Nurse: "Hold still, Marie, we'll have you out of here and human before you can blink. You may even lose that tuft of white hair."

Marie looks up and locks eyes with the nurse about to stab her and kicks the nurse away against the wall.

Nurse: Whoa... easy, young lady, everything is fine...

-Marie leaps up from her chair and grabs Linda Danvers from her flirtations.-

Linda: What's going on, I... ugh! -Linda begins to get the vein effect and seize up.-

-Marie feels an arm on her shoulder. Bubba stands there.-

Bubba: Take it easy, lil'un. We all gots pro...-

-Marie grabs Bubba by the wrist, his veins show and after a couple seconds Marie drops them onto the ground. She runs out into the street.-

Nurse: Security, Security!

-Marie bursts through the doors, knocking them off the hinges, plants both her feet and flies off into the air.-
-Cut back to Alcatraz-

Change 2: Final Battle: Iceman vs Pryo
Location: Alcatraz Island
Time: Final Battle
Point of Change: Show off these two guys a bit more... give us just a little mroe iceman time...

Magneto: Burn them to ashes.

-Grinning Pryo stalks forward. Iceman steps out to meet him.-

Pyro: Dear God, you're in over your head... -shakes his head with laughter-

Iceman: -Clenches his fist blue, icy vapor wafts from it. Western style shoot out angle on the camera.-

Pyro: I'm sorry, Bobby... -Throws fire, which meets with iceman in a power struggle, fight continues just in the movie until...-

Pyro: You should've stayed at school, Bobby!

Bobby: -Stands up, Iced up in the midst of fire.- You should never have left.

-An icy explosion of cold sends Pyro flying back. He lands, rolls and whips his hands around, igniting several things to create a large fireball which he holds over his head like a spirit bomb.-

Pyro: You're dying for a dream, Bobby! -Throws giant over head ball-

-Bobby with a wide wave of his arms creates a large icewall, the fireball breaks it but Bobby is unharmed. Bobby walks towards Pyro, from behind the broken wall. -

Iceman: John. My name is Iceman.

Pyro: -enraged.- You will NOT call me by that name! -Fire ignites around his fists.- I am Pyro! -Fire lights up all around him as he surges forward, his fist carrying a truckload of fire behind it like a comet.--

Iceman waits and as Pyro gets close Iceman and, stepping off of an instantly made ice rock he leaps into the air, grabbing John's arms as he flips over, pulling them over the man's shoulders as he lands right behind him. Iceman freezes his devices.-

Iceman: You were my best friend.

-Iceman lets go, spinning John around before Koing him with a right hook. He walks away as badass as he wants to be.-

Change 3: Final Battle: Juggernaut
Location: Alcatraz
Timing: Right after Juggernaut hits the white wall.
Reason: Juggernaut, Rogue and Colossus need some props badly.

-Kitty and Leech come running out of the building.-K

itty: We need to get you to safety.

Psylocke: -Running with the crowd from DP.- "I'll take him."
Kitty: -looks her over skeptically-

Psylocke: Are you seriuos? The battle is over! It's time for as many mutants to survive as possible!

-Kitty nods slowly and hands turns around to return to the battle. As she passes the building it explodes in concrete. Juggernaut turns and sees Kitty he begins stalking towards her.-

Juggernaut: -As he walks.- Are you dense? Are you retarted or something? I'm the goddamn Juggern---

-Juggernaut is blindsided by a big metal fist. Colossus stands dusting off his hands.-

Colossus: You will not continue this rampage.

Juggernaut: -Gets up and runs forward.- Die slowly!

-Colossus braces himself for a tackle and is lifted clean off his legs by Juggy, he's carried through three buildings and is slammed to the ground in a clearing. Juggernaut, over him unloads several punches to his face, punctuating each one with a syllable as Colossus writhes.-

Juggernaut: I. Am. Un. Stop. A. Ble.

Familiar voice: Ya'll make a whole lotta noise.

-Juggernaut, looks up, gets uppercutted and goes flying up and backwards, landing and crushing part of a concrete wall. He looks up, righting himself and standing there is a brown-jacketed, green costumed, frizzy haired sassy-smiling Rogue.-

Rogue: Oh mah. Ah nevuh thought Ah'd see such a waste of God's fresh aiuh.

Juggernaut: You yanks don't get it, do ya? I am the Juggernaut. -He stalks forward.-

Colossus: Marie. He may actually be unstoppable.

Juggernaut: Damn straight, I'm unstoppable, baby! Invincible... Immortal. -He picks up his pace as he grabs a nearby guard tower and swings it.- You're already dead!

-Rogue flies upwards and Colossus braces for the impact.-
-Cut back to Dark Phoenix.-

Change 4: Final Battle: Finishing the Phoenix
Location: Alcatraz
Time: End of the Movie
Reason for change: Lets, for once, make this a team movie

Logan: Get out of here! She's deadly!

Storm: -Calmly stepping up beside Logan- And she's powerful enough to rip everything on this island apart instantly. If we're not dead it's because Jean is in there somewhere, holding her back. -Glances towards Dark Phoenix.- We do this as a team. -Logan grimaces.-

Rogue: -lands, supporting an injured Colossus.- It ain't just the ahland... she's got waves the sahze of montana out theah...

Kitty: Marie?

Rogue: -smiling.- Long Story, sugah.

Storm: -Looks over Marie for a second, thinking.- I'll try and contain the waves.

Logan: Negative. This is too big for you Storm...

Iceman: -in chilly voice-. Then I'll help.

Rogue: Bobby?

Iceman: -smirking- Long story.

Storm: X-Men. It's time to die trying, you understand? Kitty, go and start to talk Jean down. Beast get some cure together. Rogue, Colossus, clear the bridge. Minimize casualties. We will not let her kill Xavier's Dream. Iceman.

-Storm takes off into the air. Iceman rises alongside her on a column of ice and then... iceslides the opposite direction she flies and you see them using weather and ice to protect the city and collateral damage on a wide scale. Other X-Men move towards their respective positions.

Logan: Kitty...

Kitty: I'm sure, but thanks for asking. -She walks forwards up the hill. Debris flies through her harmlessly as Logan watches on.- Ms. Grey. I'm scared. I'm scared that everything I've learned... everything you've taught me is falling apart. I miss the Professor.

-Phoenix slows down and then suddenly rises into the air.-

Phoenix: Arrogance from a Class 2 mutant. Emotional attatchments as empty as yours to Bobby Drake. You feel your body is invincible...

-Kitty gasps as if grabbed and we see her go solid as her costume begins to peel away.-

Phoenix: But what of your mind? Death is yours.

Just as a large chunk of concrete comes to crush that spot a purple cloud appears, causing her to complete dissappear. Phoenix seems neither to notice nor care.

Logan: Kitty!!!!!! -His claws come out.-

Familiar Voice: She's fine.

Logan: -sniffs retracts his claws.- Aren't you supposed to be dead?

Cyclops: Aren't you supposed to be screwing my girl by now?

-Logan and Scott exchange a glance. Beast and Angel land. Cyclops looks at Beast as he hands a needle to Angel.-

Cyclops: -to angel- One chance, kid.
-Beast grabs Wolverine on the shoulder.-

Beast: She cannot attack your mind in it's feral animialistic state. It is our only defense.

Logan: What about soldier boy? (towards Scott)

Beast: -glancing to Scott, gazing at the Phoenix- Only Jean can save him.

Phoenix: Impudent peons! -Wolverine and Beast go feral and start stalking towards Phoenix.- I am GODDESS. I am life and death incarnate. I remake universes as they should be! -A firebird roars around and behind Phoenix-
-Phoenix regards Beast-

Phoenix: You knew. You knew that bald egomaniac tried to cage me, to keep me from existing. -Beast begins to come apart, feral he presses on.- You said nothing! You only cared about a sweet little girl who worshipped your intelligence! Worship this... Worship your unmaker!

-An optic blast comes from the base of the hill KOing beast in the back of the head. Phoenix's attention turns instantly to Scott.-

Phoenix: You blind pitiful boy. The woman you love is a figment. A construct of your dead mentor's design for your life. She cannot love you because she is not real. I will never love you because you are weak.
Spineless. Empty. -Tears rolls down Scotts cheeks-

-Wolverine, taking advantage of the distracted moment leaps towards Jean, claws to strike. She catches him and holds him in the air.-

Phoenix: And you... what drives you to me? Jealousy at the man who seems to have everything? Some lost memory of a lover in your subconcious? -Wolverine trembles, helpless.- Show me your passion, Logan.

-Logans claws retract and Jean and Logan begin kissing passionately. This goes on for a few seconds and as they begin to neck, Logan opens his eyes to glance at Scott fiercely as he digs into Jean.- (Scott I'm so sorry...)

Cyclops: I'm sorry too. -Removes his visor. a WIDE beam errupts from his face, engulfing the entirety of the mountain and being visible for miles around like a big red spotlight. All the X-Men look up at it as the waves die down... they all realize what must have taken place.

Notes: I skipped the Angel action peice, since Jean was going to stop that anyway and I didn't know where to put it without slowing things down... also Nightcrawler, still unseen delivering Kitty to the others was omitted... as well as Cyclops bringing in Nightcrawler and Angel in the first place... yeah.

 

[intensity]

Just before and slightly after Bobby enters Kitty's room after Xavier's funeral:

Kitty: Thanks for hanging out with me, Jubes.

Jubilee: Don't mention it, Kitty... I've been through my share of lost loved ones... but that still doesn't stop the hurt I'm feeling for losing Professor Xavier.

Kitty: I know, Jubilee, I'm sure we all feel the same way you do. Xavier was the one to actually invite me to live at the mansion, he was like a father to me.

Jubilee: Xavier was a great man. *Wipes tears away from her face,* He found me by using cerebro when I needed help the most, shortly after my parents were murdered.

the two friends hug each other, and start to part ways.

Kitty: So, Jubes... wanna try out a danger room session with me later? I'm sure Storm will be okay with it.

Jubilee: I'd love to!
Jubilee smiles and leaves Kitty's room.

Several moments later, Bobby knocks on Kitty's door and talks with her about the events that recently took place. Continue on to Bobby and Kitty ice skating.

 

[3rdRealitey]

#1: Scene with Rogue and Logan in the hallway when Rogue prepares to leave the Mansion and go get the cure.

- Rogue walks towards the door to leave the Mansion -
Logan: Where ya heading to kiddo? Need a lift?
Rogue stops walking and turns around to face Logan with a seriuos, seriuos face.
Rogue: *after some hesitation* I'm going to take the cure. Please, don't try to stop me.
Logan: Why? There's nothing wrong with you. I thought Storm made it pretty clear the other day. You're just going to turn your back on a part of who you are?
Rogue: I'm not trying to turn my back on who I am, I don't want my powers, Logan. I want to try to live a normal life, without having to worry about killing someone because I accidentally touched them.
Logan: So what you're saying is that you want to be normal and live like a human? You're a mutant and you're always going to be one, you can't hide from it. I think you know that pretty clearly.
- short awkward silence -
Rogue: You don't know what it's like to be afraid of your powers, to be afraid to get close to anyone.
Logan: Yeah, I do *takes a step closer to Rogue*
Rogue: I want to be able to touch people Logan, a hug, a handshake,... a kiss.
Logan: I hope you're not doing this just for some boy.
Rogue: I'm not doing this for anyone, for no one but me. I'm doing this for me, myself.
Logan: I know I'm not your father *brief pause* but I'm your friend. Just be sure that it's what you really want.
Rogue: *says in a quiet tone:* ...Thanks...
- Rogue turns around -
Logan: *puts hand on Rogue's shoulder* Just remember what I said; you're always going to be mutant, cure or no cure.
Rogue: *turns around to face Logan again and takes his hand off her shoulder* I know, I'll remember. *small smile*
Logan: So, am I going to see you again?
Rogue: Don't worry, I wont' be gone forever.
- Rogue plants a peck on Logan's cheek and walks towards door -
END

#2: Scene when Rogue arrives at Worthington Labs to take the cure with the protestors against the cure. Two hours before scene with Pyro and Iceman at the lab.

- Taxi pulls up in front of the lab and Rogue steps out. Walks to the side and pulls out cellphone to call mom, no one answers. Beep signaling voice message is heard and Rogue decides if she should leave a message or not. Decides not to and puts phone back in bag -
Security Guard: I'll need your bag please, miss.
- Rogue turns from door to look at the crowd of protestors, begins to doubt her decision -
Security Guard: *on a rough manner:* Bag please, miss.
-Rogue hands the guard her bag and the guard opens the door for her after he finishes examining it for weapons and enters the building -
Rogue: *stepping towards desk* I'm here for the... the cure.
Secretary: *stands up from chair* Please, take a seat. The doctor's assistant will be down soon to*tries to find right word so not to offend Rogue*... help you.
- Assistant arrives and leads Rogue upstairs -
Assistant: I'll need you to sit down and wait a while, the doctor is still busy. Meanwhile, take this *hands Rogue a brochure about the cure* maybe you should familiarize yourself with this first. Feel free to ask questions, I'll be back quickly.
Rogue: *takes brochure and nods* I'll be fine.
- Rogue turns towards windown and looks down at the protestors and camera crew from news stations to broadcast the ongoing protest. From the 3rd story, Rogue can hear the protestor's chanting: "We don't need a cure!" over and over again. She takes a glance at the brochure and puts it on a nearby steel counter, takes off her gloves on her left hand and stares at it, thinking of what she can do with a single touch -
Assistant: *steps in room* The doctor is coming *steps towards Rogue* But first, I'll need you to take off your jacket.
- Rogue continues to stare at her hand -
Assistant: Are you okay, miss? Do you need to sit? Uh, are you feeling well?
Rogue: *staring at hands and says slowly and quietly:* I'm good, I'm feeling real... good... *and places her hand on the window*
END

#3: Scene after Rogue's scene at the medical lab with Bobby and Pyro right when Pyro asks Bobby what he's doing there and says that Rogue is pathetic when Bobby tells Pyro he's looking for someone.

- Bobby turns around and sees a girl looking similiar to Rogue, he can't see if she has a white streak or not because he can only see a side of her face but thinks that it is Rogue. Bobby rushes towards the building. Standing a few metres away, Pyro sends the building into flames. The crowd panics and he loses sight of the girl. He sees Pyro and glares at him. Pyro gives Bobby a challenging look -
Bobby: Rogue! Rogue! *looks in the panicking crowd and tries to get out of there for a better look. He spots the girl that he thinks is Rogue running from the crowd and he quickly catche up to her* Rogue! *He cuts in the girl's path, only to see that it isn't Rogue. Rogue: I was going to take the cure? A little bird reminded me that with or without a cure, I'll always be a mutant, and an X Men. I wasn't going to give up on myself just yet.
- Kitty tries to not look at Rogue and remains silent with Colossus who is also smiling -

I'd love to write more about Rogue in the final battle since I'm a major Rogue fan, but I'm gonna have to cut this short . Way too busy right now.

#1: Scene with Rogue and Logan in the hallway when Rogue prepares to leave the Mansion and go get the cure.

- Rogue walks towards the door to leave the Mansion -
Logan: Where ya heading to kiddo? Need a lift?
Rogue stops walking and turns around to face Logan with a seriuos, seriuos face.
Rogue: *after some hesitation* I'm going to take the cure. Please, don't try to stop me.
Logan: Why? There's nothing wrong with you. I thought Storm made it pretty clear the other day. You're just going to turn your back on a part of who you are?
Rogue: I'm not trying to turn my back on who I am, I don't want my powers, Logan. I want to try to live a normal life, without having to worry about killing someone because I accidentally touched them.
Logan: So what you're saying is that you want to be normal and live like a human? You're a mutant and you're always going to be one, you can't hide from it. I think you know that pretty clearly.
- short awkward silence -
Rogue: You don't know what it's like to be afraid of your powers, to be afraid to get close to anyone.
Logan: Yeah, I do *takes a step closer to Rogue*
Rogue: I want to be able to touch people Logan, a hug, a handshake,... a kiss.
Logan: I hope you're not doing this just for some boy.
Rogue: I'm not doing this for anyone, for no one but me. I'm doing this for me, myself.
Logan: I know I'm not your father *brief pause* but I'm your friend. Just be sure that it's what you really want.
Rogue: *says in a quiet tone:* ...Thanks...
- Rogue turns around -
Logan: *puts hand on Rogue's shoulder* Just remember what I said; you're always going to be mutant, cure or no cure.
Rogue: *turns around to face Logan again and takes his hand off her shoulder* I know, I'll remember. *small smile*
Logan: So, am I going to see you again?
Rogue: Don't worry, I wont' be gone forever.
- Rogue plants a peck on Logan's cheek and walks towards door -

#2: Scene when Rogue arrives at Worthington Labs to take the cure with the protestors against the cure. Two hours before scene with Pyro and Iceman at the lab.

- Taxi pulls up in front of the lab and Rogue steps out. Walks to the side and pulls out cellphone to call mom, no one answers. Beep signaling voice message is heard and Rogue decides if she should leave a message or not. Decides not to and puts phone back in bag -
Security Guard: I'll need your bag please, miss.
- Rogue turns from door to look at the crowd of protestors, begins to doubt her decision -
Security Guard: *on a rough manner:* Bag please, miss.
-Rogue hands the guard her bag and the guard opens the door for her after he finishes examining it for weapons and enters the building -
Rogue: *stepping towards desk* I'm here for the... the cure.
Secretary: *stands up from chair* Please, take a seat. The doctor's assistant will be down soon to*tries to find right word so not to offend Rogue*... help you.
- Assistant arrives and leads Rogue upstairs -
Assistant: I'll need you to sit down and wait a while, the doctor is still busy. Meanwhile, take this *hands Rogue a brochure about the cure* maybe you should familiarize yourself with this first. Feel free to ask questions, I'll be back quickly.
Rogue: *takes brochure and nods* I'll be fine.
- Rogue turns towards windown and looks down at the protestors and camera crew from news stations to broadcast the ongoing protest. From the 3rd story, Rogue can hear the protestor's chanting: "We don't need a cure!" over and over again. She takes a glance at the brochure and puts it on a nearby steel counter, takes off her gloves on her left hand and stares at it, thinking of what she can do with a single touch -
Assistant: *steps in room* The doctor is coming *steps towards Rogue* But first, I'll need you to take off your jacket.
- Rogue continues to stare at her hand -
Assistant: Are you okay, miss? Do you need to sit? Uh, are you feeling well?
Rogue: *staring at hands and says slowly and quietly:* I'm good, I'm feeling real... good... *and places her hand on the window*

#3: Scene after Rogue's scene at the medical lab with Bobby and Pyro right when Pyro asks Bobby what he's doing there and says that Rogue is pathetic when Bobby tells Pyro he's looking for someone.

- Bobby turns around and sees a girl looking similiar to Rogue, he can't see if she has a white streak or not because he can only see a side of her face but thinks that it is Rogue. Bobby rushes towards the building. Standing a few metres away, Pyro sends the building into flames. The crowd panics and he loses sight of the girl. He sees Pyro and glares at him. Pyro gives Bobby a challenging look -
Bobby: Rogue! Rogue! *looks in the panicking crowd and tries to get out of there for a better look. He spots the girl that he thinks is Rogue running from the crowd and he quickly catche up to her* Rogue! *He cuts in the girl's path, only to see that it isn't Rogue. He looks around his surroundings but sees no one looking like Rogue and has a worried expression -

#6: Scene of the battle with Magneto, the U.S. soldiers, and the X Men. The battle has already started.

- Rogue watches the battle from afar and remembers what Logan had said to her at her previous Danger Room session: So you're just going to sit there while the world goes to hell? Suddenly, a sharp bone-like thing shot at Rogue, luckily she was able to dodge it, but it did get a piece of her hair. -
Copycat(no offence to Copycat fans ): Good dodge, try this!
- Copycat in Spyke's form continues to fly her bones at Rogue, she misses her but one of the bones scratches Rogue and rips her suit just a bit on the wounded spot. Copycat takes on another form, this time as Pyro -
Rogue: *murmurs:* What are you?
Copycat: *says slyly:* Everyone you can think of
- Rogue starts to run and Copycat chases her. Copycat changes into Multiple Man and surrounds Rogue -
Copycat: Good luck.
- Copycat morphes into Iceman(the "clones" dissapear) and turns her body completely ice. Rogue sees this and slowly runs out farther from the "battlefield" but Copycat changes the ground to ice where Rogue is and Rogue slips and falls. Copycat approaches Rogue and creates an ice sword read to kill Rogue -
Copycat: I wonder where this should go...
Rogue: *glaring at Copycat:* In someone like you. Before Copycat can do anything(Copycat was caught on suprprise), Rogue gets up and gets behind Copycat and absorbs Copycat's powers by bare-handed touching Copycat's face. Just as quickly because Copycat is still under a state of shock, Rogue gets in front of her and stabs the ice sword right through Copycat. Rogue pulls the sword out of Copycat and throws it to the ground and it shatters into a million pieces of ice. Copycat has a shocked look on her face as she slowly falls to her knees, then to the ground. -
Rogue: This should be handy.
- Rogue using Copycat's powers turns into Psylocke(also, no offence to thre Psylocke fans) and leaves the scene. The scene moves on to the part where Quills, and Arclight tries to kill Mr. Worthington(Angel's father) and Psylocke appears from the shadows. This time it is Rogue disguised as Psylocke. -
Rogue: *when Quills signals/tells Psylocke to come from the shadows:* This is going to be a bad day for you.
- Rogue morphs into Storm and electrocutes Quills and Arclight. -
Rogue: Come on, we have to go!
- Rogue takes Angel's dad and Dr. Kavita Rao to safety -

#6: Scene when the Phoenix goes crazy and starts to destroy Alcatraz altogether and Wolverine tells Storm to take the kids to safety.

Logan: Storm, take the kids to safety, I'll deal with this.
Storm: Tell me you're not going to try and play Superman again, Logan, we're a team! ... You said it yourself, we're the X Men.
Logan: If you stay you're all going to die! You understand?!
Storm: We'll die, what about you? That, that woman killed, murdered the Professor and Scott, you're going to let her do that to you?
- Logan looks breifly arround at the panicking people worriedly -
Logan: Look, I know what I'm doing. Now go!!
- Storm starts towards the X Jet -
Storm: *looks at Logan unbelievingly and in a somewhat dissapointed manner:* I don't think you really know what you're doing... But, I have faith in you. *In a more joking way:* You better come home in one piece.
Logan: I'll make sure I'll make it. *smiles at Storm*
- Storm starts calling the rest of the group back in the jet -
Rogue: *Just as she is starting to get on the jet:* Where's Logan?
- Rogue tries to run and find him but Storm blocks her -
Storm: We're going home, he's going to be fine.
- Rogue glimpses a man ressembling Wolverine and starts running towards him -
Storm: Beast, get the them into the jet!
- Storm runs after Rogue -
Storm: Don't, we have to leave!
Rogue: So you're going to leave him behind? Just like that?
Storm: Hey, I'm not the one saying this, this is what he wants. *Storm says quietly and looks a bit dissapointed:* He loves her, he'll do anything for her.
- Rogue remains silent and turns around to look at Wolverine worriedly -
Storm: It's better for us to return than have us all die out here.
- Storm leads Rogue back to the jet an Rogue stumbles along. Just before the two ladies board the jet, Rogue gets a last look at Wolverine -

*Bobby noticing Rogue's upset about something*

She was two steps ahead of him; ironic how she felt so far behind.
"Just leave it alone Bobby."
He caught her arm just below the elbow. "Are you gonna tell me what's going on?"
She couldn't meet his eyes. "I can't touch my own boyfriend, that's what's wrong." He flinched, and she could feel his eyes staring into her, ice-cold.
"Have I ever pressured you?"
"Bobby..." A gloved hand reached for his face, but its touch was awkward, revealing. Nervous laughter. "You're a guy. And all guys want the same thing."
He was staring again. "And what's wrong with that? Look, Rogue–Marie. I just need to BE with you. When you touch me, through your gloves, I don't feel like it's really...YOU."
Hand recoiled, but her stomach lurched upwards. "How can you say that? I can't help that. It's not my fault..." Her words dribbled off, and she found a sudden interest in Bobby's shoes, the hard-wood floor, anything, not his face.
"I know. I know. It's so hard. Sometimes I just want to tear down the barriers and..." Words were stale and uninviting. "I wanna be with you, Rogue."
Thoughts ran thick now. The ice-rose he first made her. Fusbol, thumbwars. Their first kiss. Bobby and Kitty on the ice-pond. It was obvious, and she ate up her fears and engaged those runaway defenses. "And if you can't? Bobby, if you wanna be with me, then be with me. I can't help feeling alienated...I'm the only one who can touch me. Follow your heart." She swallowed lead. "And if that leads you away from me, so be it. Don't do me any favours waiting around for what can never happen."

YES! YES! YES! MDizzlie, great job! I think you got it right on the nose!!! The only thing I could suggest would be that while that's happening, those final moments when Jean's struggling to keep control or losing her cool is when all those rocks and leaves and random things start to levitate in the air. Maybe have her repeat once or twice "no it's ok! I can control it! I can control it!" but next frame we see that she can't and BOOM.

^ *blushes* thanks ntcrawler, have a few other ideas for other scenes, especially between pyro and bobby...there was so much going on there, underlying tension in X2, something should have been mentioned in X3. I like your suggestions too, do you have any for an exchange between pyro and bobby? im thinking of rewriting one outside the clinic ("come on iceman, make a move"") or watever. Love to hear your input!

the more i write for my comic, the more i find out how extremely hard it is to put all the x-men in good ways in the final battle. I figured out how to make Rogue in an easy way, but its really, really really hard to put Jean to have more to do and, mostly, to have Cyke arriving. The more i write the more i think he should stay dead, though im breaking my head to find a way to bring him to the final battle. I'll have to change most of the third act to make Jean [britney spears]DO something[/britney spears]
But man, i have to say, i praise those writers, i know they wrote LOTS of things we couldnt see because of time and political constraints, but their ideas and plot really work the best it can...

Hi, first u have to get all the details in when u sketch in pencil so that when u ink its alot easier, takes practice.
yeah cleanup is usually needed when u scan it into the computer.

Vilya, THANK YOU SO MUCH!!! I for one feel vindicated! We wrote similar ideas in script form and fanfic form, but to finally see it graphically is awsome! This is the first time I have been able to really smile since seeing the movie, thanks to you

BTW, I'm working on some rewrites of this scene and a couple of others as well. Do you think you'd be able to draw a frame for me to complement what I'm writing about?

Yeah, i feel that way too when i did it, vindicated that cyclops did not die, that he was rescued and later joins the fight at alcatraz in the final confrontation.
Depends on what you have in mind, i can draw a frame for u if it is well thought out.
