I forget how young Scarlett is - she's only 29! Probably because she's been famous so long and has looked like she was 25 ever since she was 15. I'm glad though - it means that if they ever do a Black Widow movie, she'll probably still have the physical ability necessary for the stunts.

A Black Widow solo movie wouldn't be totally solo. All the Marvel movies so far give the main hero backup in various forms. Iron Man has Pepper, Happy and Rhodey. Thor has Sif and the Warriors Three. Captain America has Peggy Carter and the Howling Commandos.

I suggest Contessa Valentina Allegra DeFontaine (Val for short) and Yelena Belova, the new Black Widow as an uneasy ally.

Yes, there could be other character in a solo Widow outing. Fury would be fine, giving out her task, etc, and a few other characters could be included. With Widow being the centre of the film. Her driving the plot forward.

They can call it "From Budapest With Love."

Fury or Hill could be the M of the BW movie. The Q could be Tony Stark or Simon Williams.
Simon Williams before he became Wonder Man ran a munitions company so he could be the new weapons tech for SHIELD. I guess Hawkeye is Sylvia Trench or Moneypenny.

I'm surprised there hasn't been a controversy over heels like there was for the Avengers, given that there seems to have been arguments over everything else (except for maybe the shade of red used in the black widow symbolt. Personally I didn't mind them given that they weren't shown onscreen often (if at all) and seemed to be there only to make her seem a little taller next to her cast mates.
