Zack looking dapper af.

Goddamn...that's the best he's ever looked. Very handsome bloke. He looks recharged as well. Looks like third time's the charm.

He looked very worn out after BvS. Glad to see he is looking revitalised again. That bodes well for the movie, and I also wish him the best for his personal life. These movies, they are under so much pressure, and that takes a toll.

I really felt for Zack after BvS. He looked completely rigid and spent. To create a big blockbuster of that magnitude and then watch it get burned to the ground I'm sure took so much out of him. Here's hoping JL can restore the much needed energy back into his filmmaker side of things.

Zack Snyder did not build off of MOS the way he should have. Maybe Nolan was more valuable in the position he held initially godfathering the project or whatever, keeping track of Snyder and helping him focus.

Nolan was working on Rises. He was on set maybe 2-3 times. Stop with the BS.

Nolan did help with the story though that's why the format was very Batman Begins-y. Also why it was focused on being grounded and realistic. Plus he was a producer, so he had a much bigger role over-seeing the project.

I am pretty sure it was not just the reception but the huge load of the work itself. BvS was a movie that tried to so many things at once, it must have been back-breaking. Continuation of MOS. Intro of rebooted Batman. First intro ever of WW. Launching a whole shared universe. Death of you know who. Tell a dramatic story juggling the core conflict with action and political undercurrents and the world-building. Probably some of the material that did not land well with many was part of a sizable inner struggle to find the best solutions to those huge demands.

I think compared to all that, Justice League must have been a relief, its ambition focusing more on scale, character and interaction, now that all the groundwork has been mostly established.

I hope he strikes gold and gets the corresponding kudos.

You know I see fans on here praising this shot?

I mean... do I even have to go into why this looks terrible?

And THIS is supposed to be a money shot?

Only issue I have is with Wonder Woman. Diana just standing there with her sword and shield by her sides. It reminds me of the money shot for BvS when the Trinity are about to take on Doomsday and Superman doesn't know what to do while Batman and WW are getting ready to battle.

i wonder when he last had a break. he must have started mos in what, 2012? dude's probably not had a day off since

Well said.

Zack seems like the type that embraces that sort of workload and challenge. He's not one to tell the actors what to do and how to approach their goal when it comes to the weightroom and then leave it up to them and their trainers. The dude jumps in with them and works every bit as hard as they do. And he's ultra optimistic and positive. There's a reason why actors/actresses praise the type of man he is and how they love working with him. For me, regardless of the movie and receptions of them in itself, I appreciate that stuff as well.

For all those saying 'oh this shot's terrible', 'that's awful CGI' or 'that's not a money shot', has anyone ever actually tried making a feature film before, it's really hard work to cover all bases.

I don't care how much work was put into the preparation of the steak.

If it's overcooked, it's overcooked.

Zack probably takes great pride in the preparation of his steaks.

I know I do.

In what way does that trailer not work for you?

Being a trailer for a Zack Snyder is one.

But on another note, I just don't think the trailer offered any reason to get excited for the movie.

Cool. I hope you can find JL in the $2 bin at Wal Mart whenever Christmas rolls around.

^Easy. NOT like Zack Snyder. Zack makes these movies on MS PAINT, duh.
