Zack Snyder Directing Justice League - Part 2

I am pretty sure it was not just the reception but the huge load of the work itself. BvS was a movie that tried to so many things at once, it must have been back-breaking. Continuation of MOS. Intro of rebooted Batman. First intro ever of WW. Launching a whole shared universe. Death of you know who. Tell a dramatic story juggling the core conflict with action and political undercurrents and the world-building. Probably some of the material that did not land well with many was part of a sizable inner struggle to find the best solutions to those huge demands.
Agreed, and this happened with X3 as well trying and failing to combine 2 big stories with the Dark Phoenix storyline and Cure and multiple deaths.

I think compared to all that, Justice League must have been a relief, its ambition focusing more on scale, character and interaction, now that all the groundwork has been mostly established.

I hope he strikes gold and gets the corresponding kudos.
This suits him more than trying to write a BvS story and coming up with motivations for an unnatural situation. JL just needs a team coming together to take on an uber-villain and great action, banter between the team and some emotional stakes will be enough without him having to come out with anything particularly clever. When Zack tries too hard to be clever things go wrong.

^Easy. NOT like Zack Snyder. Zack makes these movies on MS PAINT, duh.

I mean I'm extremely critical of CGI and I hate the Momoa on Batmobile shot cause the background looks blurry and a little fake to me. But I legitly can't think of anything wrong with this shot! Great color contrast, good shadows and light, good use of steam--and awesome hero looks. I can't think of anything wrong with it personally--I think it looks fantastic.

I think HE thinks it supposed to be THE MONEY SHOT of the team. Like the Avengers one when they're in a circle. And it really isn't

LOL that's like saying, this is the money shot of the Avengers. Missing members and inside an industrial vehicle.

Zack is an og when it comes to dressing up now. No more tshirts and sweat pants.

Do you remember when someone called him a *****e for dressing nicely? Can't remember who it was, but man, the level booty hurt was incredible.

He looked more like a touring pro tennis player. lol

That must have been the '80s because the clothing gave the look & feel of the '80s. I used to dressed a bit like that in the '80s. lol

Probably wanted to try something new. And good for him; the man can dress.

I love a good suit. If there's anything I can say I loved in BvS, it was all the "civilian" clothing Wilkinson decked them out in. Hell, maybe Snyder's been asking him for tips, since his suits seem to be along similar styles.

Baby Zack Snyder with blond hair directing Michael Jordan lol:

Pre-Gym Jones, I see. :o

I think when people mean 'filter' they mean like an instagram filter where you put your picture though. Obviously color timing/correction is a much more complex process and it takes days to just get one shot right--but people just don't like the dark palette it appears. I think had Snyder gone with orange skies, it would've looked cooler.

It's not the darkness that bothers me, it's the unnatural coloring.

Lol, there is no way this dude ever picked up a comic book

Between filming for work and breaking hearts, where would he find the time?

Fong once tweeted Zack recommended him TDKR in '87. He defies conventions Ill give you that!
