what the eff is this goldfinger rendition? ew sounds like a Adele Bizzaro

She can't hit the same high notes anymore, it's in a lower key. It happens with age that you can't hit high notes anymore, except someone forgot to tell Meatloaf.

So I'm thinking that lady's voice wasn't what it used to be. I mean I'm just guessing.

Not trying to diss her or anything just an observation.

Don't tell me that's all there is. I was expecting Craig, Brosnan, Dalton, Lazenby, Moore and Connery to trot out on stage.

It's a combination of how well CGI is done and how it's done for the story of the movie. Life and Pi deserved the win,

To each his own, as said - I see no differences between the tiger and Aslan. Only what a couple of years difference can do. To me when judging effects, the story shouldn't be taken into account - the work and innovation of the team should be.

As said, Spielberg said back when Tintin came out that that long shot in an action movie was something impossible to do thus he did that shot he always wanted to do in animation. The visual effects team on Avengers proved that that shot could be done and be flawless at that. It was innovative.

As said, to each is own - but I'll never understand what's so great or innovative about the tiger since, as said, I just see the natural evolution from Aslan. Lion/tiger. Someone else did it years earlier.

that performance was awful in the beginning but she picked it up for the second half.

The character she puts into that song is everything. Who cares if there's a few bum notes? It was great.

You'd think they would get all the Bonds and do the gun barrel sequence all together.

oh well...

I'm wondering if all the Bond actors basically said no.

You're giving Spielberg and Avengers too much credit. Avengers didn't do anything new.

Remember you are on Superhero Hype. A lot of people on here think that Superhero films should win every thing at the Oscars.
