I'm not sure what people were hoping for for the Bond Tribute.

You're giving Spielberg and Avengers too much credit. Avengers didn't do anything new.

Name one action film prior that had the camera flying around SEAMLESSLY between locations while action went on everywhere around it. Hell, name one time a camera SEAMLESSLY flew around the skies of New York City. As said - if you're so sure, just name one.

Those looking to the hulk, flying ships, etc. are missing the boat on what stands out about that film -- it was that they found a way to get a camera to seamlessly move around like that in an action scene. Nothing like that has ever been attempted before, I can't say the same about replicating a lion -- sorry... tiger...

The modern American superhero, Liam Neeson.

Good one.

I could listen to Liam talk all day. :hrt:

NY? The entire shot was Green Screen.

Anyone else find it odd that Neeson is presenting the film he was suppose to star in?

So Neeson doesn't get to play Lincoln but he gets to present it. :csad:

They're gonna give Argo something tonight. After the BAFTA love they'll feel like they ****ed up.

Love the Kashmir.

How bout that When Levee Breaks too lol.

They grouped the three American political-themed movies together. Not a bad idea for a thematic package.

Nice to have Neeson introduce Lincoln, since he was going to star in it for a long while.

Obviously. But they put everything together to make it look like it was long shot without any cuts.

As said, I find that innovative. I see nothing innovative about a lion... sorry, tiger... when all of the others animals weren't as well done and even critics noted that the others didn't come off as well done as the tiger - why is that? Well, the team had the work 80% of the way already with Aslan.

Now Aslan? Was impressive. The tiger? I just see nothing great about it. It's a big cat that looks real... we had that years ago built from the ground-up.

Remember you are on Superhero Hype. A lot of people on here think that Superhero films should win every thing at the Oscars.

I know. On CanadianLiterature Hype right now, everyone is laughing at The Avengers.

Yeah, this sort of thing was expected really. I always thought getting all six actors was going to be beyond reach. No matter. Bond endures.
