Rylance had an understated performance, but I disagree that it wasn't memorable. As I said I thought was easily the stand out element of the film. I actually agree with Darth that all the other performances were more worthy than Sly's (except Ruffalo), but I still expect him to get the sentimental vote.

Sly's performance was from the gut, full of heart and soul, the rest were meager offerings by comparison IMO, especially the guy that won with his "will it make a difference" running line.

The length isn't great. The length is killing me. It might've been better if it was floor length.
Where you saw heart and soul, I saw a fairly generic Oscar-baity [blackout]dying mentor[/blackout] performance, while I found Rylance's character to be a fascinatingly atypical portrayal of a spy, so as is becoming custom for us Hunter, we'll just have to agree to disagree yet again, lol.Sly's performance was from the gut, full of heart and soul, the rest were meager offerings by comparison IMO, especially the guy that won with his "will it make a difference" running line.
