Thanks you mr C.K. for being the funniest presenter of the night.

Rylance had an understated performance, but I disagree that it wasn't memorable. As I said I thought was easily the stand out element of the film. I actually agree with Darth that all the other performances were more worthy than Sly's (except Ruffalo), but I still expect him to get the sentimental vote.

Sly's performance was from the gut, full of heart and soul, the rest were meager offerings by comparison IMO, especially the guy that won with his "will it make a difference" running line.

Son of Saul should win best foreign film.....such a wonderful film

Wow, Dev looks like a totally different guy with long hair and a beard.

Dev Patel looking like a ****ing Apple store staffer.

Leo doesn't matter... Brie. Brie or Die.

Seriously. I'm all for understated performances getting recognition when it's appropriate, but I thought he was adequate at best.

Leo genuinely won't do any big big goofy blockbusters until he gets that statue. I'd like to see him in some massively stupid summer tentpole

Well, maybe not in Sawyer and Schlosser's minds. :o

Where you saw heart and soul, I saw a fairly generic Oscar-baity [blackout]dying mentor[/blackout] performance, while I found Rylance's character to be a fascinatingly atypical portrayal of a spy, so as is becoming custom for us Hunter, we'll just have to agree to disagree yet again, lol.
