The great thing about Leo's win is that now he can branch out from trying so painstakingly to appease these f***s and now he can actually have some fun.
Have you watched The Wolf of Wall Street?

In terms of the ladies tonight, I think Saoirse killed me the most. Stunningly beautiful.

Kinda stupid but let's move on......

Films with large casts have a voting advantage, it's a fairly well known principle. And check your BS attitude at the door, you're too new here to be pulling that.

Drizzle and JaD you definitely should watch Spotlight.

It's on my to do list now. I haven't missed a Best Picture winner since 2002 (still haven't seen Chicago), so I'll definitely check this out.

I could Name a lot of films with huge casts that didn't win but anyway let's move on.....

I have and I loved him in it, but being that Scorsese was behind that, it just barely feels like branch out.

Django might actually be more what I'm talking about.

brie... leo... no sluy... 2 for 3... its ok.

Leo for Transformers 5. :o

Sly not winning was the only downside for me. Mad Max not grabbing at least director was a bit crap too, but I always knew Miller wasn't a lock, so that was easier to bare.

While I tend to prefer when the awards are spread out rather than movies just winning by inertia this is definitely one of the weirdest years for the Oscars that I've witnessed.

While it ultimately doesn't matter, I am disappointed to see Inarritu win over George Miller. While the Revenant is also well crafted, Fury Road was just a singular experience. Its just laughable to see nearly everyone Miller collaborated with win awards and thank him but then have him not win himself.
