A friend of mine, HUGE batman fan, was an extra in a scene shot in England some days ago.

He couldn't give details about what was filmed but said that the set was on was pretty damn good. The scale and the amount of stuff used within that one set.

What he was most impressed about was the IMAX camera. Said that it looked amazing up close.

And yes, he has seen Selina Kyle and I am still trying to get him to tell me what she looks like.

When filming was finished, he went up to thank Nolan and said how big a fan he was. He said the other extras were just guys who did this for work and did not appreciate it was BATMAN, and some did not know who Nolan was.

But from what he says, it looks like it was a pretty good scene he was in

That sounds awesome. Lucky him. Make him tell you what Selina Kyle looks like. What was the scene? How many extras did they use?

If your friend isn't pulling your leg, hopefully he will describe her a bit.

He won't tell me the scene, but says Hathaway looks very slim in person and there were quite a few extras.

Awesome.

Maybe if we don't get a promo pic of her soon then maybe have your friend draw a picture of her and post it :funny:

But the thing though is he was saying how like he was basically busting his balls in the scene because this was BATMAN, but for the others it was just another paycheck.

did the extras realize it was Batman and not just Magnus Rex?

I don't see why he can't tell you. I mean, if there were loads of different extras there, how would they know it was him?

Maybe he doesn't want to get sued. I wouldn't tell anybody what I saw if I signed a legally binding contract. But hey thats just me.

If she was there as Selina Kyle then what is there to explain about her look if he didn't get to see the Catsuit?

Your friend sounds pretty lucky. You'd think that Nolan would have a line of extras waiting to shake his hand.

I agree. I wouldn't want anyone to get into trouble, especially over something we will find out at some point in the near future anyway.

I'd shake Nolan's (and the entire cast I worked with) hand too. It's a huge honor, in my opinion.

Here's hoping I get spot as an extra in LA or NY *crosses fingers*

Have you filed a request form for NYC?

If you have can you help me along?

well, they are actors and do loads of these. So he was the only guy that thanked him...even if he is still pissed with nolan over tdk....

Someone told me I would have to wait and see if they even would have open casting in NYC. It's not official yet unfortunately :csad:

but yeah, he's hoping he can make the cut in the movie

Because his friend is posting about it in this thread, and that friend is traceable. It's a matter of simple deduction.

Sounds interesting, wish we had more details on the scene itself.

haha pissed at Nolan over TDK? What did he have against the film?

Your friend doesn't like TDK?

Yeah, sorry about that, I'm stupid -.-
