Another casting for the series; dont think the person is a comic book character

Do you think there’s any chance Chris Evans could appear on Agent Carter? — Mel
Since the show takes place after Captain America got lost in the ice, it’s unlikely. Instead, the ABC drama is stocking up on male counterparts to make Agent Carter’s life a little more difficult. I’ve learned exclusively that Kyle Bornheimer has landed a recurring role as Agent Ray Krzeminski, who will clash with Peggy.

The Agents of SHIELD panel at NYCC yesterday also showed some footage from Agent Carter.

"As it begins, Peggy, Dominic Cooper’s Howard Stark and the living Edwin Jarvis arrive to a harbor at night. Stark boards a speedboat, tasking Peggy with tracking down a deadly formula of his that might fall into the wrong hands, and could level a city block. Leaving them behind, Stark also assigns Jarvis to assist Peggy, despite Peggy having accidentally attacked him in an alley earlier. Jarvis notes that he’d only be available before 9:00 P.M., usually going to bed thereafter.
We also saw bits of an impressive fight sequence between Hayley Atwell, and what we’ll presume is either a Zodiac or Hydra agent, likely in Peggy’s apartment. Suffice to say, Peggy makes good use of the window."

Hayley Atwell:

Today we welcomed Director Joe Russo on to the set. The man works fast and knows what he wants. A pleasure to work with him again.

Someone posted this 'tweet' collection on tumblr (entitling it: "Hayley Atwell laying waste to the Agent Carter set: A Timeline") of some of Hayley's recent tweets... sounds like Hayley's been having some 'fun' on set since filming started *lol*

Captain America: We have a Hayley Atwell

Follow up to this... Haley's path of destruction on the set continues *lol*

The poor costars and stuntmen *lol*

Nah.

They're doing it on purpose. They probably zigged on purpose when they should have zagged so that Hayley makes contact.

I mean, who doesn't want to be *touched* by Hayley? :o

Marvel's Agent Carter Rounds Out Cast With Lyndsy Fonseca
With "Marvel's Agent Carter" making its way to ABC in 2015, the series has now completed its cast with Lyndsy Fonseca ("Kick-Ass" franchise, "Nikita," "Big Love") joining as Angie Martinelli!

An aspiring actress living in 1946 New York, Angie will befriend Peggy Carter (Hayley Atwell) as she herself seeks to find her place in the post-war world.

Cool that Lyndsy Fonseca is joining the MCU. But imagine if she had been in present day MCU and bumped into Maria Hill. :hehe:

I think Lyndsy could've gotten a bigger role as a superhero though instead of just an aspiring actress befriending Carter. Maybe she will become one, or a supervillain? Otherwise it seems a bit of a waste of her talents.

Lyndsy,Lyndsy... :D

So I look up both the names, and find an actor(actor who played Buzz McAllister in Home Alone) on twitter with a similar name spelling, and this was one of his posts.

I think its safe to say the 2015 ABC show he's talking about is Agent Carter.

I don't know who Keffernan is but he is also an actor.

I believe Kevin Heffernan is one of the guys from the Broken Lizard Comedy Troupe.

Good to see Lyndsy Fonseca getting another role, I liked her in Nikita.

Now we have the synopsis for Agent Carter; looking forward to the part in bold

http://marvel.com/news/tv/23536/see..._agent_carter_in_the_official_series_synopsis

ABC presents its second action packed series from the creative minds at Marvel in “Marvel’s Agent Carter,” inspired by the feature films Marvel’s "Captain America: The First Avenger" and Marvel’s "Captain America: The Winter Soldier," along with the short "Marvel One-Shot: Agent Carter."

Years before Agent Coulson and his S.H.I.E.L.D. team swore to protect those who cannot protect themselves from threats they cannot conceive, there was Agent Peggy Carter (Hayley Atwell, Marvel's "Captain America: The First Avenger," Marvel's "Captain America: The Winter Soldier"), who pledged the same oath but lived in a different time when women weren’t recognized as being as smart or as tough as their male counterparts.

But no one should ever underestimate Peggy.

It's 1946 and peace has dealt Peggy a serious blow as she finds herself marginalized when the men return home from fighting abroad. Working for the covert SSR (Strategic Scientific Reserve), Peggy finds herself stuck doing administrative work when she would rather be back out in the field; putting her vast skills into play and taking down the bad guys. But she is also trying to navigate life as a single woman in America, in the wake of losing the love of her life, Steve Rogers – aka Captain America.

When old acquaintance Howard Stark (Dominic Cooper, Marvel's "Captain America: The First Avenger”) finds himself being framed for unleashing his deadliest weapons to anyone willing to pony up the cash, he contacts Peggy - the only person he can trust - to track down those responsible, dispose of the weapons and clear his name. He empowers his butler, Edwin Jarvis (James D'Arcy, “Master and Commander: The Far Side of the World”), to be at her beck and call when needed to help assist her as she investigates and tracks down those responsible for releasing these weapons of mass destruction. But Jarvis, who is a creature of habit and sticks to a rigid daily routine, is going to have to make some major life changes if he’s going to be able to keep up with Peggy.

If caught going on these secret missions for Stark, Peggy could be targeted as a traitor and spend the rest of her days in prison – or worse. And as she delves deeper into her investigation, she may find that those she works for are not who they seem, and she might even begin to question whether Stark is as innocent as he claims.

“Marvel’s Agent Carter” stars Hayley Atwell as Agent Peggy Carter, James D'Arcy as Edwin Jarvis, Chad Michael Murray (“One Tree Hill,” “A Cinderella Story”) as Agent Jack Thompson, Enver Gjokaj (“Dollhouse”) as Agent Daniel Sousa and Shea Whigham (“American Hustle,” “The Wolf of Wall Street”) as Chief Roger Dooley.

Tara Butters (“Resurrection”), Michele Fazekas (“Resurrection), Christopher Markus (Marvel's “Captain America: The First Avenger,” Marvel's "Captain America: The Winter Soldier"), Stephen McFeely (Marvel's "Captain America: The First Avenger,” Marvel's "Captain America: The Winter Soldier"), Chris Dingess (“Men in Trees”), Kevin Feige (Marvel’s "Guardians of the Galaxy,” “Marvel’s The Avengers”), Louis D'Esposito (Marvel's "Guardians of the Galaxy,” Marvel’s "Iron Man 3”), Alan Fine (Marvel's "Captain America: The Winter Soldier,” Marvel’s "Thor”), Joe Quesada (“Marvel’s Agents of S.H.I.E.L.D.,” “Marvel’s Avengers Assemble”), Stan Lee (“Spider-Man,” “Iron Man,” “The Incredible Hulk”) and Jeph Loeb (“Smallville,” “Lost,” “Heroes”) are executive producers. “Marvel’s Agent Carter” is produced by ABC Studios and Marvel Television.

Sounds like it could be good. I really hope the "omg teh sexisms!" is only for 1 season.

Wait...this show is lasting longer than 1 season? Man...I hope not. I feel like this concept should be used to world build stuff that will pay off in the present and then go away before the audience completely goes away. It's hard enough to get people to watch AoS, but to have them watch one set in the past where there can be no cross-overs? Thats probably not going to be a ratings success.

I have no idea where this mindset comes from... This show has a lot more potential than Agents of SHIELD because it shows us what happens in the MCU between Captain America: The First Avenger and Iron Man. It also gives them a chance to bring some classic characters in that wouldn't fit in the modern age.

I think there should be a time jump between each season. Season 1 takes place in 1946, season 2 takes place in the mid 50s, season 3 in the 60s, etc.

Right...it shows us stuff that has now been resolved. It's like watching the end of a movie and then watching the rest of it. And the general audience is tuning out of AoS because for some reason they thought that there would be weekly appearances by Iron Man, Hulk or whoever else...they don't care about Deathlok, Blizzard etc because they have never heard of those characters.

I'm more interested than the average person, but what I want is development with the dead alien and other things that affect the future storylines.
