Now that Ward took out the decoy and Coulson knows its someone in SHIELD has to take them all out before they blow her cover.

I'm going to assume it has more to do with her being [BLACKOUT]HYDRA[/BLACKOUT], not the Clairvoyant.

Like I said, the Clairvoyant had no interest in Coulson until Raina saw him, but Hand knew about Coulson's "recovery" before Raina saw him. If she were the Clairvoyant, why not send Raina/Po/etc. after Coulson before that to find things out?

It doesn't add up...

It's probable that Victoria Hand is HYDRA, not part of the clairvoyants plan. For those who have seen TWS, I think Rumlow says that Sitwell has been taken hostage on the boat for 93 minutes before Cap and that go in, so it's not a long time period that all this happens in. After the boat, I think Fury is taken out the next day, and at this point, HYDRA/ Pierce and people who work for him like Hand potentially, will start trying to take out teams who are loyal to Fury, which they know Coulson will be.

You can find the entire scene in a theater near you in a movie called Captain America: The Winter Soldier. :oldrazz:

Anywho, I found what I was looking for. Here's the sneak peek of TWS that was shown during the ep last night:

It wasn't weird if someone was trying to kill them all. If the leadership is corrupt and those just beneath them aren't corruptible, send them on a mission to hopefully die so you can be corrupt in peace.

I know you just explained it, but I still don't understand. Who was suspected of being corrupt by who at that point?

Laser Tag Deathlok aside, great episode.

Yeah, for a guy who's always in blood red body armor, having blue glowy highlights was a really poor choice.

I think what was meant is that if they felt at risk they'd send the agents they wanted eliminated on a mission with absolutely no chance of survival or at the very least insure they had no chance of linking them to the attempt on their lives.

Zola somehow arranged the deaths of Tony Stark's parents and might have had a hand in a certain Peggy Carter's current state
, however given they were about to
launch 3 weaponised Helicarriers able to coordinate an aerial bombardment at a moments notice leaving very little chance of survival using what looked like reverse engineered Phase 2 weaponry possibly powered by similar generators as that 0084 found in that early AoS episode of the same name... say you don't think?

Anyway I'm more surprised that Hand
hasn't yet realised the Clairvoyant is a SHIELD Agent since she did lead an operation to eliminate that organisation
and didn't even flinch when Coulson confronted her about the operation Ward and Fitz was sent on that required no backup...:cmad:

I you look back at Marvel: Assembling an Unniverse, you can se that the screen wich Glenn Talbot introduces himself is identical to the screen Victoria Hand uses at the Hub. And given that Glenn Talbot will be introduced in episode 18, that would mean that Coulson and his team has seamingly secured the Hub by then.

That would mean that Victoria Hand is probably dealt with in the next episode (as the promo indicates, it will be a lot of gunfight in the Hub). Perhaps she manages to escape, but my impression of her is that without her resources, she is nothing, an would not be a large threat.

So therefore, I will assume that she is not the Clairvoyant, despite what the latest episode implied. It was after all aired the first of April :cwink:

Hopefully it keeps with the trend and adjusts up in final numbers by at least .1 (12 of the 15 previous episodes have adjusted up in final numbers). Also hope that, with no more breaks, that the numbers on the remaining eps will edge up back to that 2.1/2.2 stabilization point that it was at earlier in the year

It just seems like they made his costume busy to be busy for no reason.

Hi. First post!

Blake. Is he Corrupt? They said that they were basically bated to go see the "fake clairvoyant" by Deathlok. Blake shot the tracker on him, and was convenietly not killed and not at the site. Could he be a pawn in this?

And I don't think Hand is bad. She is just using the evidence she has to take what she thinks is the best course of action. She said to "take them out", but is that synonomous with "kill them"? Obviously she has a way to hear what's happening in the Bus, which is why I think that May said she couldn't say why she is up to what she is (and is also why I think she is not bad), but I still don't get why she went after Fitz the way she did.

Just my thoughts.

Also, what is "Department H"?

Thanks for reading my post! Look forward to hearing your thoughts.

(FYI, I have not read the comics, I'm only as involved as the MCU is).

After people see Cap 2 I think it's going to be smooth sailing for this show for 6 straight weeks, and I can see the season finale doing big numbers. Maybe not Pilot numbers, but somewhere close to that .

I think Blake could go either way at this point.

As for Department H, since you're not a comic reader (don't worry, neither am I ;)):

Welcome to the boards :)

I'd have thought Fox would have had control off Department H what with its close ties to Wolverine and The X-Men...

The one thing that didn't make sense was Ward straight-up murdering the wheelchair bound fake-Clairvoyant. I know, they wanted to make it seem like Ward completely lost it and wanted revenge for Skye, but it made too little sense for an amazingly well trained operative to go off the rails like that.

Remember he was just coming off the stress of having his head screwed with by Lorelai only a short while ago, and the Berserker staff thing a little while before that.

It actually made quite a bit of sense that he'd lose it after all that, if only for a minute. His head had been compromised quite a bit lately.

Posted this in the general thread. Thoughts?
EDIT: It was blake who asked, never mind.

Zodiac were in the Agent Carter one shot as well, didn't realize.
Something a friend noticed -
in Ep 16 when Garett keeps asking May if she's a scorpio. Is he asking if she's a member of the Zodiac?

The Zodiac is a criminal organisation in the comics of which Fury, Edison Po (Poseidon anagram), Garett and Von Strucker are members. It has strong links to the Avengers, the Defenders and Alpha flight, which was also referenced this episode.

Surely not a coincidence?
