Whoa, Tuesday can't get here fast enough!

As much as I'm enjoying J. August Richards in this role, and I really am, can they please get him a better outfit, pretty please? The laser tag getting up just looks stupid.

Deathlok's original costume would likely look silly in this show, too. Hopefully it will get better over time. They didn't exactly have the easiest look to adapt.

While the original costume is silly, this one is too, to be fair. Why not a more solid breastplate, at a minimum rather than the mutlicolored stripes?

I thought I read that his look is still evolving and what we see now is not his final look.

Deathlok's comic book look is no more silly than say, the Terminator. And people have no trouble buying that.

Are you talking about him being metal? Or the outfit he wears?

The problem is that finding a happy medium between this

and this

is really difficult, especially when considering the limitations of a tv budget.

If this were one of the movies then it wouldn't even be a concern but the amount of screentime he'd need to be an actual factor on the show, combined with the FX money needed to make the look happen is pretty enormous.

Concerning her powers i found it useful to imagine myself strapped into a wheelchair without the knowledge that I can walk. someone really would need to destroy the wheelchair, get me out of it or I need the info that i can do it before I would try walking.

Is it me or does the debate on the car radio from clip 2 sound important? Talks about a change in government, not allowing Hydra to rise again.

Im probably the only one, but i actually like Deathlock´s appearence. Has a bit of pure fantasy that suits the tone of the show so well. It could be better, but as is, i cants say personalyy i have much to complain about it either. Richards does also a perfect job on convincing me.

Does anybody buying Garrett as the Clairvoyant? IDK it seems odd that he isn't contacting Deathlock to help him with his raids. I won't believe Garrett is the Clairvoyant until I see him giving orders to Deathlock.

Go look at the episode 20 promo photos and then get back to me.

Plus it was one episode and Deathlok really wasn't needed for them to pillage the Fridge.

Good Point I have seen those pictures and my opinion has changed. It does look like
Deathlock is working with Ward so I guess we'll have to wait and see how that turns out

The only thing those photos of Ep. 20 prove is that Deathlok is working with Ward. Garrett isn't even in that episode, and by all counts, his story arc ends next Tuesday in Ep. 19 (unless new info comes out that Paxton's contract has been extended).

As far as I'm concerned, those photos prove that someone *other* than Garrett is controlling Deathlok. i.e., The Real Clairvoyant.

And, as far as I'm concerned, Garrett is a mercenary opportunist who is running another con by pretending to be The Clairvoyant, since there's pretty much nobody out there other than Deathlok who can categorically prove he *isn't* The Clairvoyant. But it's certainly telling that the people who were closest to The Clairvoyant (and who are still alive) don't believe or trust Garrett for one instant --- namely, Raina and Quinn. We'll see for sure one way or the other in Ep. 20.

Do we know that Paxton's contract is for consecutive episodes? Is it possible his last episode is the season finale?

The showrunners originally said he was going to be on four episodes. Some rumors claim to have heard six episodes, but I haven't seen any articles confirming that, and I'm usually pretty thorough about scanning Marvel news. To date, Paxton has been in four episodes. He's listed for Ep. 19, but not Ep. 20.

Setting yourself up for a big disappointment if you really think it is someone else.

Bill Paxton confrimed at WonderCon this weekend that he was in 3 more episodes this season.

"They started writing for me and I knew it was penciled in where it was possibly going and I’m having so much fun now that they’ve unmasked Garrett and his true nature has come out. I’ve got three more episodes and they’re pretty cool.

Presumably that would be Ep 19, 21, and 22

If you want to see the whole article google Bill Paxton and C************e (the site that shall not be named on here)

Yeah, just saw that on CBM. At least that proves Garrett will stick around for the rest of the season (although he's strangely absent in Ep. 19). I'm not going to concede that this proves he's The Clairvoyant, though, and not a con artist. Until I see Garrett actually programming orders into Deathlok's bionic eye, I'll still believe he's running a hustle on Raina and Quinn. And Coulson, for that matter.

What if the entire season ends with no indication that you are correct, but it's not explicitly foreclosed. Is there a point when the passage of time will foreclose it for you or will you always hold on to it?
