So, with all the legal stuff between the segal/schuster family and DC/WB, besides the trunks (not trying to debate that), will the film have to change certain things about Supes? Or will they still be able to use all of the source material if they so choose?

Not really been keeping up with that.

What the **** was up with using Howard Shore's The Bridge of Khazad Dum for the trailer?

I dunno, what the **** was up with using Howard Shore's The Bridge of Khazad Dum for the trailer?

So did I, I just didnt know what this guy was randomly *****ing about?

Same here. Really liked it and didn't realize it was from LotR, since I am not that much of a tolkien fan. Overall, I really love the teaser. First viewing I was a bit let down, because I waited for a big action kinda shot, but when I sat back and watched it again and again I loved it. Last time I had goosebumps. Really like the look. I think we have a really great movie ahead of us, with Man Of Steel.

He probably didn't know what to do with the money. Instead of doing action, he did CGI Superman and filmed huge scenes that were cut out.

as much as I enjoyed his X-Men movies I think he was the wrong choice for Superman. I'm not saying I didn't love Superman Returns, because I do. I just think that he went too over the top with the CGI when he could have done it practically

Interesting interview with Charles Roven, the producer on MOS (And on Nolan's Bat flicks), he talks about MOS:

Totally agree, I mean he even used CGI for shots where Brandon fell off the edge of New Krypton just stupid. The best flying CGI shots were when they used Rouths head on a CG body.

Absolute nonsense

In watching the new trailers I had a question come to my mind...

Do you think he is in Alaska or wherever to hide his powers? Since some parts of the far north have the months and months of darkness, would that decrease or eliminate his powers? Could that be why he's actually hitching a ride in the trailer, because walking shouldn't tire Clark if he has his powers.
The only other reason I could think of for him to hitch a ride is he's in total denial of his powers, and is trying to hide them.

What's so interesting about what he said exactly?.....I did like what he said about henry and what they planned for MOS

Yeah, just look at the VFX supervisors work:

Awesome!

Almost all of those films suffer from the one thing that bothers me about Weta(but not as much as it bothers me from R&H/SonyIW). The animation's great but the damn compositing suffers form just one more layer of contrast.

Van Helsing, I robot, apes even LOTR. Good animation but weather it's the ambient lighting of the film or just their style the work always has the touch of gloss. No more prevalent than in I robot(I don't care how long ago that was). I hope Snyder shoots alot of sun cause that tends to force the contrast. This was crippling to Superman Returns imo.

District 9, TF films, Pirates are the opposite.

It's my belief that his time in Alaska is due to self exile after a certain someone passes or may after a certain accident. Either way that would explain why he choose the medial mundane life and says no to powers. This would tie to the themes that have been discussed about acceptance and choosing to be etc.

It's interesting to me, doesn't mean it will be to you, or everyone. :cwink: It's just nice to hear someone else other than Snyder, the cast or Nolan talk about the movie. I also like that he said ´´spectacle, fun and action`` need to be a part of the movie.

On another note, Nolan recently said that MOS is going to be remarkable, but of course I wouldn't expect him to say that it will suck. :woot:
