For MoS I'll probably go and see it in IMAX for the first time and then go to a cine capri screening afterwards. The Cine Capri room is glorious.

But like many of you my first viewing of a film I get.....touchy. With MOS like many other films I use to take all of my friends, but I try to sneak to the midnight by myself, but it rarely works lol. I just don't like when people are talking, or there is always that one guy that is laughing at everything...annoyingly so. I remember with The Avengers there was a guy in front of us just laughing at things....that were not funny.

So hopefully my midnight showing of MOS is good.

Yeah, my best friend wanted to come and see it with me my first time. I told her no I love her, but she's one of those people who grabs onto you when something exciting happens! It really takes you out of the moment.

Besides, I sort of feel like my first viewing of MOS is something I need to do alone. It's 'my' thing, and not a single person in my life could possibly understand how I feel about it enough to share it with me... does that sound way too dramatic?

Nah, I understand, there are some films that I prefer to be alone but it rarely happens. MOS would be nice to be by myself, and I know I'll want that for Episode VII, but like I said my friends usually know about it and follow me.

Also, just found out the second half of Breaking Bad season 5 starts on June 14th! Man that's just an awesome date

If a film is good and one I've been excited about I usually have a routine. Go to the midnight showing, go to a Friday night showing second to see more reactions and get that vibe that can be great sometimes. Then usually I'll go matinee's afterwards.

I like some audience interaction while watching these blockbuster films. I don't like a **** load of distractions but some are fine.

Examples; I hate texters, crying babies, non directors commentary throughout the entire damn film. And people who constantly get up.

I love laughing at humorous parts, moderate cheering during action scenes and leaning over and whispering to my sister about how hot an actor is and other silly observations. I do hate constant whispering to me though, I mean how am I supposed to watch the ****ing movie?

I don't know how it is in the states, but in the UK (especially in the southern part) people are generally well behaved in the cinema, not making too much of a noise (unless ier t's a comedy or a kids film) I tend to go at the earliest screening on my own for films that i really want to see. Then I go later in the night or the next night with a group of friends at a packed screening. It's very dependent on the movie...but that's definitely what i want for MOS. I just want to be as alone with my thoughts as possible without subconsciously worrying if my friends like the film or not.

I still haven't gone to a midnight show and probably never will. The closest I have was during the opening night for The Dark Knight where me and a few friends (stupidly enough) didn't preorder our tickets so when we got there it was sold out. Luckily they posted a new showtime up for 11:30 and we didn't come out until 2am.

It is because you wonder, why in the hell did you take a baby to an R rated movie?

I'm not anti kid but how about not taking your kid to any movie until they are 6 or 7?

I hate teenagers who have already seen the film and tease upcoming moments, spoiling the **** out of every cool scene, or recite lines before/during/after they have been spoken. Babies should NOT be allowed in, period. I also hate to go with a bunch of fellas who always ask me questions throughout the movie (especially if it's a superhero movie), and turn their head and look at me while they do it, while they miss out important scenes and moments. On that note, I hate listening to people explain something to others out loud during the movie.

I love people cheering on cool moments, like Batman ejecting from the Tumbler with the Batpod in TDK, or Hulk smashing the **** out of everything in The Avengers. I also love to hear when people laugh, gasp, or make an exclamation about something "geeky" that not everyone in the audience will get. It's cool to know you're not the only one who got that easter egg.

Are you serious? I can't remember if there were any kids at my screening, all I can remember is how uncomfortable my lovely mom was during the sex and blue penis scenes. My sister and I laughed so hard at her. Eh, she has never liked sex scenes but I'm okay with them. It is uncomfortable to watch one with her around of course.

Funny enough I've seen theaters now cracking down on it immensely here in the States. Especially for sold out/full shows. A guy will come up and say "no messing around or we will throw you out". And I've noticed in the past year, it has gone down a lot in terms of annoying people or talking people in theaters, not completely but enough. Because I remember as a kid, there was never the amount of annoyance in a theater as there has been in the past 10 years. Texting, and people thinking they have a right to comment on a film loudly to try to get laughs.

But I've noticed a change, I think theaters are cracking down on it, and I hope they do it more so.

I too like audience participation but there is a limit that many break with that. But if you get the right amount of audience participation it really can enhance the film. So I'm sure with MOS a guy will come out where I 'm at and tell people not to mess around. And hopefully MOS will have a great crowd to watch it with.

to be fair i think that scene is suppose to make you feel uncomfortable lol that sex scene imo even in the novel was'nt some hot steamy scene it was a scene between a guy who couldn't get it up and he is pretty much a loser and fat and out of shape and a woman who's only sexual encounters her whole life were with a blue alien god who has no emotions lol

i always viewed it as a sad sex scene

When TDKR came out, there were no midnight viewings allowed in the UK. They justified it by saying they were worried about spoilers because the UK is so many hours ahead... which doesn't even make sense, because in some countries it came out a whole day before!

I really hope this doesn't happen for MOS as well... i'd be absolutely gutted!

True, it was supposed to be provocative. I don't know if I'd call the Owl ship scene sad though.

I'll take my mom to a midnight showing at the Alamo draft house. She loves superman and I've always had a great time there. Then I'll go to the IMAX later in Austin and see it. I'm so excited.

I could never go to a movie in the middle of a work week. You're enjoying the movie, you're geeking out, you're having a great time... and the you remember, you have to get up early tomorrow. Bleh. I always go on Fridays, like the good Lord intended. Nothing beats the sheer awesomeness of Fridays.

Good point Hopeful! If we aren't allowed midnight shows here then I'm getting tickets for the first showing the next day!,and probably an evening show as well. I wonder when the cinemas will know if we have midnight shows or not?,or could we get this info from WB?

It still doesn't change my plans for being in London,but I was really looking forward to my first midnight show
