I think its rumoured that its around 2 hours 28 mins but that hasn't really been confirmed.

148 minutes is relatively long for a superhero movie. Lots of story to tell, and lots of ass to kick.

This is a good point. I hope that we get our moneyshots of Supes reaching out from the skulls and hints of the full extent of Metropolis final battle with the final trailer which will be repeated again and again with the tv spots, but that should be enough to tide me over until the film. We've got this far on so little. I do feel films these days are spoiled too much by the huge advertising push they receive in the weeks prior.

Imagine whats gonna happen in here when the trailer 2 hits, and shows lack of action, remaining on the level of the first one or even the teaser
I admit to having loved them both and I think they are perfect, but you can not argue that they are not just exciting like a summer blockbuster/catching public trailer must be =) They have to literally tear down the walls of cinemas and to burn the screens!

Paramount Pictures and Sony are the Masters of movie marketing, followed by Disney, Fox and WB are the worst ones.

Around the same length as Batman Begins which is perfect for me I found the Dark Knight and Rises to be abit too long.

As I said in this thread prior, for me that shot of Superman reaching out from the skulls should be the last shot of the trailer before the title & logo hit. I imagine that would get an insane reaction.

I also agree that a trailer showing what you described would definitely tide me over til release. I would probably avoid the rest of the TV spots thereafter and clips, I saw way too much of Batman Begins before release including that 8 minute preview they did with Smallville & the fact I'd read the script.

Wolverine trailer was disappointing. Where are the ninjas? It doesn't look like the Wolverine I've been a fan of. He wouldn't be into wearing suits, and the plot sounds silly and out of character. Losing mutant powers is Rogue's story. Wolverine would suck it up and deal. I still don't think they get the core of the character. He should be in Japan studying Bushido to control his animal instincts. Not get rid of his mutant powers.. PASS

It sucks that Aronofsky didn't get to make his Wolverine.

Well, had you paid attention Ninjas are present in both the domestic and international trailers.

As for the premise, the teaser focused on Wolverine's life after the X-Men disbanded. The only reason Logan wants to lose his mutation is because he is tired of outliving everyone. Immortality eventually does that to any individual who has a soul. As for the training aspect to control his animal instincts, it could still happen. Not much has been revealed about the arc other than Logan facing his mortality. Incidentally, learning Bushido (some fans would say) is out of character for Wolverine.

If they kept the same quality they showed with previous teasers and trailers, the next trailer will definitely do the job, I just hope they don't release the best stuff too early.

I don't want to, but I'm sure that I'll end up seeing every clip released for MoS, so I hope they don't over do it.

When I first saw it, due to the blur, I thought Clark was surrounded by people. I had to look up trailer descriptions to realize he was stuck in skulls.

What I liked most about the trailers were Pa Kent's moments: The controversial "Maybe", and “It's not from this world, Clark, and neither are you" from CC trailer.

WB showed us nothing yesterday. It was awesome. I really like the nothingness of it... you can really tell they worked hard about the nothing. I will show nothing to all my friends to get them excited about the movie.

There should be. WB puts out TV Spots like 6 weeks before release.

They've been promoting alot of their Summer slate this week with posters for Pacific Rim, The Conjuring and TV spots/clips for 42 and Great Gatsby. Yet, nothing for MOS. That's what's most frustrating at the moment.
