I think it's silly to complain when you get something and when you don't.
The marketing is meant for the general audience and showing a T.V spot during something that appeals to the general audience is a good thing. Considering how many movies the MOS trailer didn't play with for some reason the footage was new to the people who could make the movie a hit. EG. not us geeks.
I'm hoping this means WB is tired of the year of flops and are ready to get the marketing campaign started. Hopefully we get posters and new screen shots in the next two weeks.

T"Challa;25548923 said:Lone Ranger might go down as the biggest bomb of all time. Apparently the production budget eclipsed 250 mill already. And this doesnt even include the marketing budget. That movie is going to make John Carter look like Titanic.
I'm not saying means its going to make more than Man Of Steel, but it is certainly at least an indication about what people were discussing those two films and not Man Of Steel.
I'm fine with the T.V spot, I'm satasfied that WB remembered that they had a 200 million dollar film coming out.Well to be fair, that means you can never complain. Even if the movie ends up not great.

I'm not going to ***** about MOS first T.V spot having very little new footage. Other T.V spots will have new footage in the coming weeks and hopefully this is a signal that we will see new posters and screen shots soon. I will only ***** about the marketing when I feel that the ball is being dropped, the ball is not being dropped by marketing the film. So I'm officially giving them props for marketing the film to millions of people.
Nice catch -- I thought it sounded familiar too. You likely read it in the CNN article from the other day.Is that actually new, I feel like I've seen it before.

A film has to trend to make people happy now?Sad.The trailer did trend back in dec when it was released.

Nope, at least its not new to me. I saw that on the official site a few weeks ago and even quoted it when CapedWonder posted about the new trailer and "symbol of hope" quote.

I have no idea what I am arguing against but here is an opinion:I am talking in a more general way. All criticism is now criticized... for well existing.

I'm not saying one shouldn't criticize the quality of the marketing materials but one can no longer say that WB isn't making an effort to market their film.
