Did anyone read the cringeworthy article on Cracked.com? I love that site, but the article they put up today seems highly presumptuous based on the trailer, not even the trailer - just what they want to believe from the trailer.

Luckily the comments section seems to be more level headed, with plenty of people backing the movie up against the site.

I read it, I didn't take it seriously. A lot of stuff on there is tongue in cheek.

What about us in the UK WBs :(

Saving Private Ryan is a war movie and these tend to run on for too long, but in a good way.

TDK, Aliens & T2 were all too long for action based film, especially Aliens. I saw all of them at the cinema and can clearly remember being aware of how long these films were. Sometime actions will become too repetive and boring.

Batman Begin was fairly good in pacing.

Why are you bugging me about MOS trailer?:yay: It has nothing to do with the run time.

T2 is too long. T2. :funny:

And you you do realize that there is plenty of Krypton in the trailer right? Just like STM.

Walmart.com already has a store locator if you want to see if your local store is participating and which theater.

Yep mine is and on IMAX too. :woot:

That's exactly how people reacted to the Batman Begins trailer.

Oh it's Batman :whatever:

Deep dark secret, that is actually how I reacted to the trailer myself as a foolish teenager. After Batman & Robin, I turned my back on the caped crusader for a couple of years, thinking I had outgrown him. Christopher Nolan slapped me silly and showed me how very wrong I was with Begins. My dad rented it on DVD one Saturday night and I was blown away. :woot:

Don't like T2 at all don't think its a patch on the first film and yes it was too long.

T2 had great pacing; it's length is fine.

Like ESB, it still holds up perfectly today. The pacing is ridiculous. As a little ones, my brother and I watched it almost everyday. Could keep our attention even at that age.

Terminator is a great film. T2 is one of the greatest films. It is a true jumping off point for cinema. It is Cameron's masterpiece.

But it is stuff like this that makes me think this is less about the quality of the film and more fanboy stuff. The basis for the Marvel vs. DC stuff on this board. Not about the film or film making. I get wanting this or any film to succeed, but lets be a little more sensible here.

Does this mean the Blu-ray they are pre-ordering is exclusive to them or that they get to pre-order it first?

Each to their own but I never enjoyed T2 found it lagged on. I don't think it has that great feel of T1, which has that vibe to it that only films from the 80s have and also Sarah Connor was likeable in the first one. Don't even get me started on John Connor in T2.

Blu-ray exclusives are all the rave these days. Probably a Wal-Mart exclusive.

I figure it will be widely available but the part where it says purchase of tickets "allows customers to pre-order their own Blu-ray Combo Pack or HD Digital Download of Man of Steel, which will contain exclusive film content" makes it seems like it only available to those who get these tickets.

Am I the only one that can't get anywhere when clicking the link to view the theaters they are selling tickets for?? The link on the walmart page doesn't work at all...anybody have a different link???

Well never mind I just type the address in instead of using the link and it worked...weird...and now when I click the link from that page to search for a local store selling tickets it sends me to the fabric center locator! Lol dang wal mart get your website together!!!

Yeah off topic but since people are mentioning it, i do find myself liking terminator 1 more than t2 the older i get. I just find it more visceral...besides visually i just like the darker 80's neo noir atmosphere and the simplicity of the terminator hunting Kyle and Sarah.
