Good point that it's probably Jor-El.

Kelor is listed on IMDB, and while it's not exactly the most reliable of places putting the listing with the art shown gives us a possible idea.

To refresh for others Kelor was the name of the service robot for the House of El on Krypton along with Kelex.

Bigger.

So, yeah, that's a robot holding two Kryptonian guns, and Superman holding some sort of sword/lance.

It's not Superman. It is definitely Jor-El, if you look closely you can see in the concept art that the figure with the red cape is wearing armour (see shoulder pauldrons) and has a beard.

EDIT: Seems Simo beat me to it.

Pretty cool to see the book go from being 160 pages to 180+. :woot:

Weird that they have the color of Jor-El's cape wrong, but you can certainly make out his shoulder armor.

Wait Jor-El has a dual pistol wielding robot sidekick? I want a buddy cop/road movie with those two!

I think the chances for stinkatude will be low, but there may be some cringe moments. I hope not.

Things like if they have a non brunette Lois, or a black Perry White, or try to sneak in a female Jimmy Olson...

As long as they don't mess with these basics, we are home free!

Do you guys think Superman's heat vision will be like the way it was used in Superman Returns, or Smallville, or something different?

SR seemed like Smallville's too me. Only with Smallville, I think it was about intensity as the show went on (and budget). Something simple like heating coffee would actually look like heat waves while something stronger would actually look red and closer to the comics. MOS looks to have the similar red eye look Smallville did.

That's a different costume though.

I remember posting a long time ago a manip of what Supes costume would look like under the Krypton RED sun.

The reds and blues get darker, sorta like the trailer colors.

I noticed that yesterday the BBFC officially rated the 3 minute trailer...and another one at 2 minutes and 28 seconds, both from WB Entertainment UK.

Also it looks like the rerated Trailer#2 for use on the home release for Superman: Unbound.

Yeah but it's just a case of 2 different sets of armor/robes. Jor-El most likely wears the armor with red cape at the beginning during's Kryptons civil war until Zod is captured and "hangs up" the armor for his robes.

Stinkatude, a new word for me, good one though!

I think it's the same as the trailer:

They weren't saying that those two capes were different, but rather that Jor-El wears a different cape with his armour (see statue) than he does with his Council robes (the set photos/trailer).

I like your use of sarcasm, subtle yet effective ;) I realize that's the most obvious answer, I was just wondering if it was possibly Jor El; and i find it interesting that either of them would be fighting with the robot rather than against.

That is all

Just doing my part! ;-)
