They were OKed by WB two months ago. I can back Pony Boy on that. Not sure why they decided to release them towards the tail end but its not uncommon.
I'll believe in their existence when I see them. Though at this point, we might not want to see them.

Don't look at me like that, Jack Dawson!! :argh:

The stretch blur on these posters is awful. Honestly I haven't seen a poster yet that I've liked for MOS. I feel like I could make these posters, and that's not a compliment - I suck with image manipulations.

Agreed. However, I doubt it will have any effect on the film's performance. Look at Skyfall. Pretty similar set of boring, subpar posters that pretty much just featured Craig and the gunbarrel logo without any variety (except the one used for the blu-ray cover). People on a Bond fan forum I frequent were consistently producing fan made poster using official still and set photos that blew the official ones away. But it didn't matter in the end because the movie had trailers and tv spots just like MOS.

Was reading an article on Complex today about the most iconic posters and how some films had only one or two posters to live and die by, and I noticed a lot of them were just plain old logos, simple effective and far more iconic and less cheap looking than floating heads and photoshop. Jurassic Park, Ghostbusters, Batman 89....seriously what would be wrong with just the superman \S/...lord knows they can't figure out how to do anything else.

Yeah. Hopefully they just stop releasing posters all together. If this is our biggest complaint I am fine with it.

They have one with just the S

I realized yesterday I'm a MOS-aholic :woot:

Anyway, I think now is the time to stop seeing new stuff before I really spoil the movie one footage too many. Have fun guys! I'll be back once I've watched the movie, and here's hope we will all be in heaven by that point :hrt:

Might I recommend a good book to help you pass the time? Namely mine? :sus :hehe:

It's a little better, if for no other reason that it's an original image. I can't bring myself to complain about this one. Hopefully they'll just keep getting better and better.

Just read a new Cavill interview in In Style. Nothing much but he once again reiterates the film is different than Batman. He says the film isn't gritty or morbid. Says it's fun and with lots of action.

It is starting to look like an arts and craft project. Thank Zod all the actual footage looks brilliant.

The very first one.

I know. The posters are disheartening.

Yep the first one. They repackaged it as a theatrical last week

I've been waiting for someone to say that the movie is fun!

:) This pleases me.

I think it will be "quote" gritty by default when compared to previous incarnations.

Best poster is still the handcuffs one, followed by the Comic-Con one. Yeah they've chosen a motif for the marketing look now and it's all lens flare, blurs and flying shots. But it's all good cause it means we're heading into the final push for the film. Next stop: the film!

Is it just me or is this a bit fake looking... Like it looks completely CGI when they could have just filmed the rotating costume display stand they had at all the comic-cons last year.

It is like some are just ignoring grizzly Jor-El and Clark.

Looks real to me.
