What does Zod say when he's got his mask on and pointing at someone? "You will not...." something.

Very, very cool. That sounds like a great visual and a bit of a nod to the scene from STM.

And yes DK, always love some good speculation. :woot:

To the design team's credit they've gone to great detail on everything from the flora and fauna of Krypton that you may never see in the film to how Clark's Kryptonian Command Key was formed by some possible polished stone and the bubbles on it occurred via volcanism...

WOW! I can't wait to see that one in glorious HD.:yay:

The rest of the shot has Lois using a Kryptonian pistol and shooting at somebody off screen.

Still it only adds more confusion and debated about Jor-El. If he's a hologram how and why is he showing up on the Black Zero with Lois?

Jor-el and Lois Lane, well those are 2 characters I didn't expect to see together! :D

Just caught a TV spot. Thanks Simo. :D

Keep watching! I think I literally saw 4 TV spots while watching South Park before calling it a night.

I noticed ABC was showing a bunch of them tonight too during The Incredibles and Paul Blart.

That sounds awesome. Is the art book already out? Also, I know that one of the Superman Movie Masters is going to come with a key. I wonder if they are going to have anyone produce a real high quality film replica.

I just saw a TV spot during TeenNick's 90s Are All That block. It was TV spot #5.

Crap. I was watching The Incredibles but changed it during the commercial. Watched it twice this weekend.

What is the exact time and episode of South Park the Lois and Jor-El spot aired?

Somebody on here, I think based in China?, managed to get an early copy and began snapping photos of some of the pages before the publisher and WB contacted him to cut it out and remove the photos.

Times will be different but it was the first commercial break, after the title sequence, for the uncensored episode "Major Boobage". :funny:

All it did was confirm that Zack Snyder was the perfect man to direct Superman. All you need is a shot of this:

supecrashcljou.gif

and you're automatically sold (well technically, I was already sold when it was shown in the 2nd trailer :woot: ).

On another note, it times like this where I wish I could tell a certain poster here on how wrong they were and how much BS came out of their mouth by presenting this gif. I believe a certain infamous poster was known for claiming several times on how the person in this gif was actually either a military soldier or even faora that was falling to their doom and how Superman was coming in to rescue that person.lol

Who on earth thought that was a solider? Not a big deal but odd none the less.

 Wow lol.

This spot is wonderful, just wonderful.

I think Snyder is having a little fun with the fans in the way these clips have been pieced together. When Jor-el says "My son", and then a moment later finishes with, "is twice the man your are", sounds like they are from different parts of the movie. I also have a sneaking suspicion that the, " I won't betray them" line, is actually from the Krypton scenes. Oh well, only a little more than two weeks until all of these little mysteries will be revealed.

I actually agree with you, like all trailers I'm sure there is a lot of awesome splicing going on.

So no images on the net anymore? Crap.

And I love "Major Boobage". Heavy Metal.

Color me intrigued about your speculation.

Darth and InJustice, please be warned, this is really spoilerific if I am right.
So it seems that the Black Zero does not have a Phantom Drive of its own (since it couldn't leave the Zone at will) whereas Kara's crashed Scout Ship aka the Fortress and Kal-El's rocket do possess them. Interestingly, Trailer 4 shows what appears to the Fortress/Scout Ship crashing through Metropolis. Knowing what we know about the Zone and Kryptonian spacetravel technology, I wonder if the Scout Ship enters the picture as a way for Supes to re-imprison Zod and the Black Zero in the Zone.

We have seen shots of what appears to be Lois at the Fortress and, if you go back to Trailer 2, there was a lone shot of Hardy and Hamilton at the similar snowy, northern location looking at something with awe. We also see a big convoy of military aircraft including Hercules transports flying somewhere. Now that we know that Supes shows up the military base all on his own and doesn't submit to custody in Smallville, that convoy of aircraft makes no sense unless perhaps it is transporting a military/scientific expedition to the Fortress. A recent interview with Deborah Snyder states that Lois has a defined role in the good guys' plan for the last act. Since we know there is no Kryptonite in the film and presumably Kryptonians cannot be killed on Earth otherwise, I wonder if Supes develops a plan to have Lois and the military try and power up the crashed Scout Ship and get its Phantom Drive working while Supes distracts Zod and company and attempts to save as many lives as he can in Metropolis.

Then the Scout Ship comes to Metropolis and opens a rift to the Zone (would it not make sense for Col. Hardy, a "heroic" Air Force officer who seems more prominent than shown, to be in the movie because his role is to fly the Scout Ship and possibly sacrifice himself doing so?). Then, Supes leads the Black Zero through the portal/rift acting as bait. (hence the shots in Trailer 3 of Supes flying and being chased by the Black Zero's tentacles where it almost looks like they are underwater or something, when in fact they are in the Zone) If you think about it, the shot of Supes carrying Lois with the sucking distortion in the background can't be the gravity beam because it would mean that they are flying straight downwards towards the ground given how they are flying directly away from the distortion. I think Supes' face looks weird and "cracked" in that scene because he has just escaped the Zone and the portal is closing behind them and collapsing.

They are but I'm not sure if we're allowed to post them due to copyright infringement. If you're on Facebook just search for "supermanjaviolivares" and you'll find them on that page.

And yes that episode rocks. "He's cheesed out of his mind!!"

Are you watching The Coon Trilogy right now? If so then it looks like it's the same episodes airing that I got.

I'm either going to look awesome or look silly in a couple of weeks, but I'm on TeamT... yeah it's too long. I think it's Faora he's taking on a fun little ride through the forest as well.

That poster had spirit, I'll give him/her that.

The tv spots have convinced me that MOS Superman is beyond any of the movie avengers in strength/power. Also I agree that Snyder was the perfect choice for this movie.

This is going to be the Superman film I have been waiting for. About damn time.

This is really spoilerific if I am right, so be warned.

This.....sounds too plausible it could be true. The only thing off comes from the art book.
It mentions the Scout Ship breaking free of the ice and then eventually later showing it come to rest on a "windswept mountain" to prove that the meld of Krypton and Earth can be visually appealing. Of course the ship could then take off to do what you said but the way its worded could make it sound that's the ships final resting place.

I do like your speculation a hell of a lot though.

"I had to come back. Curse your rockin' t***." LOL I love that episode.

Yep the trilogy is now on. Cartman just threw his hissy fit. :D
