I think Avatar looks like a cartoon really. It's good CGI but perfect? Hardly. As for Tron I thought that CGI Bridges looked awful and it was a deeply distracting effect to me. Or it would have been if the movie wasn't so bad.

Nah, the technique is sound in both films. What they establish is how CGI models should look in motion. If the same quality went into CGI Clark in motion as the upclose shots in those films, it would look incredible. Now it just looks really, really cool.

I am going to go against the grain here.. I think Lex is the worst enemy of all time for Superman... IMHO, no 'humans' 'without powers' make good enemies... superman can hear all your plans (if you intend to cheat like using kryptonite), and destroy you from afar... That's the reason I also don't like it when they put batman up against superman, and when superman punches batman, he ducks.. how in the world do you duck when superman punches at sonic speed???? it's like ducking bullets.. and one punch is all it takes to end Batman for example.. (prob going get flamed here, i know.. but it is what it is)

Superman needs to fight 'super Villians', and 'armies of them'...

I think this is the best CG character

However, traditional stuntwork would be too dangerous for this kind of movie. Do you really want someone to go through several windows of several buildings, just to get "the perfect shot." Though that would be BA.

It is some straight up Ed Wood going on.

How so?

To label Lex as a mere human to completely misunderstand the character or what he is capable of. His genius is only matched by his will, a will as great as Superman's own. He challenges Clark on a very basic level. Lex could be every Clark is. A hero to Earth, a symbol of a greater good, a man who could rid the world of disease, starvation and so many more problems. But nope.
