I think it would be more because I'd be crying over a superman movie :yay:, she said she doesn't like superman :argh: I'm making her go see it with me anyways though.

Be careful. I'll never forget going to the movies to see Matrix 1 with my mom. She's easily grossed out, so I had to deal with her gasps and grossed out gestures through the whole movie. I walked out of the theatre convinced that it was a bad film. Who you see the movie with can really effect your enjoyment I find.

All they need to do is read the Golden Age Superman. That version of the character didn't take any crap from anyone. Hell, he even killed people.

Golden Age Superman was Might for Right Sueprman. He would use exessive force becasue he had the moral conviction of the rightousness of his actions.

Yeah, I don't think either Golden Age Superman and Batman would go over well now. I think all fans (and subconsciously audiences) want is modern age Batman.

I doubt Im going to cry because the closest I've ever been to crying was when Boo leaves Sulley in Monsters Inc.

Did you watch the Movie "Click" ?

damn that movie got me!!:csad: never watched it again because of that. I hate it when comedy movies get emotional.

Lesson learned then, don't go to the movies with your mom...or with someone who's going to continuously bash The Dark Knight after every film you see just because he thinks The Amazing Spider-Man is the best move he's seen in years.

let's see.......

I cried at the end of Beauty and the Beast
I cried at the end of Tangled
I cried at the end of King Kong
I cried at the end of Phantom of the Opera
I cried ALL THE WAY THROUGH Les Miserables

I'm not ashamed to shed manly tears.........:o

No, I haven't seen Click, but yes many told me that they were dissapointed because it made them cry ,but it was marketed as a Sandler comedy.

How about at the end of Terminator 2? That one hit me so hard :csad:

Thursday Sears reward members get an exclusive look at the battle of Smallville and much more!!

Well since we're on the topic, the end of The Dark Knight Rises made me tear up a little bit. It was such a satisfying ending.

Plot holes and all, I just loved the ending!

yes all the trailers make you think its a fun movie and it was until it got so extremely sad. cried like a baby! lol:facepalm:

and i`m afraid its gonna happen again in man of steel. The scene with superman shouting and crying in the train station is gonna be so sad.

Had to take a deep breath at the end of the dark knight rises.

The Folgers coffee commercials get me misty. :word:

"They are showing too much footage" will never come out of my mouth. I have been waiting 9/10 freakin years for a Superman movie with a huge physical confrontation. The fact that I am even seeing that in the trailers is a thrill to me. It could never be enough after the suffering I endured last time. I got none of what I wanted in 2006, none of it. These trailers sustain me.

I still think that we dont know crap about the movie.

I don't think they're showing too much footage. I think they managed to release enough footage without spoiling the whole film.
