So that WAS Cavill saying the scared/control me line. It's just that the next thing he says is from another scene, cleverly edited together. I have to say Cavill's delivery and accent so far sound very, very good. I'm impressed.

Thanks for the transcript!

heck yes, to a World's Finest movie instead of a JL! :D

I loved this part:
Host: How do feel about the feedback about the trailers, the first which was more stoic, and the second with all cylinders firing?

ZS: We enjoyed giving it out SLOWLY. We hoped that people would understand the tone of the movie, that maybe it wasn’t a typical summer blockbuster but there’s a lot of heart in the movie, and that Superman’s gonna punch some people, but there’s a lot of character.
Haha yes, a concept that was very hard for people to grasp not long ago around here as we had the 'should have been a superbowl spot' debate round 99.

by the looks of it zod and his merry men cart fly on earth. maybe kal el can fly on earth because he was naturally born while zod and his gang werent. maybe?

pretty sure it has more to do with the time spent on Earth, hes absorbed more solar radiation.

^ Just looking at tv spot #11, I think this is gonna be one of Costner's all time performances. TBH, this is probably the most excited I've been for a movie in about a decade. I can't say I'm not impressed by the scale of the movie. But with the big budget and Zack Snyder directing, we knew we would get this. What EXCITES me most, is the sense of warmth and heart. That's not gonna propel it to being the best superhero movie, but possibly one of the best movies ever made. And yes, I'm serious.

When warmth and depth is combined with scale, you get a film that emotes like a drama and feels like an epic. That's why films like Laurence of Arabia, the Star Wars trilogy, LOTR, even Titanic are acclaimed by audiences and critics alike.

I can't say I don't enjoy your increasingly outlandish posts. They are funny.

Looking at these spots I really want ZS to direct a Hulk movie, he really knows how to handle super powered individuals, action wise.

Cavill nearly got me a little choked up on tv spot 11, hope I don't cry during the movie.

Love the new spots, especially the one with Superman talking to Swanwick. Also, glad to hear that TV reporter loved the movie.

Which spot was this in? I must have missed it.

Okay, I'm probably exaggerating. I'm just saying what great stories have in common are a sense of mythological elements, a strong cultural understanding, and a sense of vastness, intellegence, and heart.

Could MOS be one of those great stories? Not sure, but I'm not ruling it out :)

Yeah, I hope this movie makes me cry. Up until now, only BB and TDKR managed to pull that kind of raw emotion out of me. Other comic book movies, while very good, haven't been able to do that for me.

I'm gonna cry like a little b**** but I don't give a damn! :waa:

I only hope I don't cry because my wife will probably be looking at me like I'm crazy lol. Don't know if I'll be able to hold it back though.

Not a big fan of Superman. He's the quintessential superhero, but somehow the character isn't that appealing to me. However, and after the disappointing Returns, I have to admit those last few Man Of Steel tv spots sold the movie for me. I'll be there opening night.

The TV spots/trailers almost make me tear lol. Especially in the second TV spot above, they use the score from Trailer 3 during the "you are my son.."
