Russell and Henry together on the The Graham Norton Show on June 14th!

Snyder said that the alive rumors are false??

^ Multiple times.

In one jokey interview, he said that Superman's take on Batman's dead is.. all my parents and relatives on Krypton are dead.

In this interview, he said that Jor-El dies on Krypton.

Besides, at this point, he's the most faithful comic director. Why would he allow them to change something so definitive?

that should also apply to the suit-flight thing.

^ Yeah. Well, Jor-El needs a dragonfly to..ahem.. fly. So I'd think that Kryptonians could only fly on earth.

Where did that suit flying thing even come from? Preposterous!

I LOVE The Graham Norton Show so this makes me very happy!! :woot::woot:

People should be more confident that Superman is in the hands of Zack Snyder. He is faithful to a fault, he won't make changes unless he felt it contributed to something greater.

I sure don't. That was my biggest problem with Watchmen. And most fans I've seen talk about it sure thought so as well. Especially on these boards.Though I still think Snyder is a good director, it's just that was not the way it should have gone. Among many other things.

But it seems with MOS and the right guidance he will make a superb (hopefully) film.

The expression on Cavill's face as he's walking towards Faora and the other giant guy with his fists clenched is great. You can really feel like he has no idea what he's doing, and in a way, looks kind of scared. its great and shows depth

paranoia freaking out because some quotes have said the suit "does something" and has a function/purpose, not just for show.

also all the shots of him flying have been in the suit, and it's speculated that the 1st time he flies is after he puts the suit on.

therefore, that has given rise to the thought that maybe, just maybe, the suit has something to do with Superman flying........

I think he was being sarcastic....:o

people are thinking way too much into it. the purpose and reason for the suit is simple. its under armor and all kryptonians wear it. these are probably the same people who were complaining that there was no commercial during the super bowl and how WB's marketing is a sham

They should see Iron Man 3's marketing team...woooooooo, now THAT'S a sham.

^^ I love the quotes by Costner and Crowe about what Superman stands for.

Its a complete sham!!! I want to see the whole movie in trailers and tv spots before I even get to the theater!! Nay I want the movie sent to my house!! Nay I want Warner to invite me to see it at the lot. Nay I should be Superman!!!:woot:

Ok I kid, but I think the marketing has been superb. They are even talking about it over here in Kuwait.

Interesting comments from McWeeny ...

I've now heard from at least four different filmmakers who have seen the movie who are positively rabid to make the sequel. They are all rooting for Zack Snyder to take on the challenge of "Justice League" so the director's chair will be wide open for "Man Of Steel 2" and "Man Of Steel 3" and on and on. Obviously, that assumes that audiences will spark to what the filmmakers have done this time around, but Warner Bros and Legendary Pictures seem pretty confident that they've made the right film to kick off a renewed life for the character on the big screen.

Yeah, a better written script.

Eh, I'm a huge fan of Watchmen, but I enjoyed Snyder's version more. Nuclear War > Giant Space Squid.

I'm probably speaking too early, but I hope they have Snyder's visual skills...If Man of Steel becomes this amazing CB blockbuster, I'd want Snyder to treat this like his baby...I can't see any other director doing it justice.

Yeah. Bring 'em back for a sequel. And do World's Finest BEFORE JLA. Got it, WB?
