Yeah. Bring 'em back for a sequel. And do World's Finest BEFORE JLA. Got it, WB?
The problem is that the way they're going to want to schedule a MOS series and a JL series is that it would be nearly impossible for ZS to just do all of them.

Kind of like how JW is doing Avengers and others do the individual films.

paranoia freaking out because some quotes have said the suit "does something" and has a function/purpose, not just for show.

also all the shots of him flying have been in the suit, and it's speculated that the 1st time he flies is after he puts the suit on.

therefore, that has given rise to the thought that maybe, just maybe, the suit has something to do with Superman flying........

They've talked about the suit's function already. It provides a cultural function in the same way ancient Roman and feudal Japanese garb did. Status in the society and so on. And provides a practical function by being underarmor.

If I had to guess beyond that, I'd say it probably also repairs itself when damaged, and maybe even activates itself when put on like the nu52 suit currently used in the comics.

Sadly. Then Duncan Jones for MOS2, with Brainiac as the villain. He does good with evil computers and fantastical situations.

Eh, I'm a huge fan of Watchmen, but I enjoyed Snyder's version more. Nuclear War > Giant Space Squid.

That negates the entire point of Watchmen. That was all done to avoid nuclear war. Instead he destroyed so much with mini-nukes all over when it was meant to minimize and put a fear that no one could explain. Put our massive fears into an unknown entity. Not a god-like one. But this is not the place to debate Watchmen. I will admit Snyder did a lot right with it, and I still loved Dawn of the Dead (not as much as the original) but still I think Snyder has always been a director I liked, but never "loved". I see that he has such talent, and I think that with MOS he is finally going to show the world what he can do.

I'm hoping during my travels on the 15th my first viewing will be on an IMAX, my second viewing on IMAX ever. My first was Die Hard 5....not very good. But I hope to see MOS in this format.

World's Finest = Treat Batman and Superman as the core of the Justice League.

Justice League = Supplement SuperBat with epic superheroes, Flash, WW, MM, Hawkman (YES I SAID IT...COME AT ME BRO), and Green Lantern (John Stewart preferably). Appellaxian Invasion for dat origin story of the team.

Justice League II = Darkseid Rises

Wasn't Duncan Jones a contender for MOS? I seem to remember his name being mentioned.

Duncan Jones is/will be busy with the Warcraft movie.

Ok I would actually kill to have a Darkseid, Doomsday, or Braniac sequel sometime in the near future. Though to be fair Darkseid and Braniac could be really good villains for a WF or JL film.

"I see that he has such talent, and I think that with MOS he is finally going to show the world what he can do. "

Yep. I feel like he finally has something that isn't so heavy that it isn't reachable, while not so light that it's just another popcorn flick. This is where he belongs.

Fair enough.

Ouch! Not a good outing for an IMAX experience.

Ya it was bad. I'm positive this will be a million times better seeing MOS on this format. However are all the IMAX versions 3D? Or are there 2D IMAX versions?

As far as I know they are all 3D.

I actually think they should "go smaller" with the sequel, and develop the Clark Kent "Daily Planet" personality. I have a minimovie in my head of a mysterious and deadly robot named Metallo performing hits, and Clark trying to help solve the case, eventually linking it to Luthor, but not being able to prove anything.

I'd be awesome to see the
reveal that would shock non-comic readers, and then see the final showdown with Supes and Metallo.

I think it can still be deep, exploring what makes something human, the nature of humanity and its motives, the parallelism between John and Clark, the impact of Superman as an ally, and logic vs emotion.

Yep. I'm also glad he cut out all the pirate stuff. I know a lot of people thought that little subplot was brilliant, but I honestly got sick of it in the comic because I was much more interested in the core story.

Maybe I'm biased though. I generally just hate pirates, unless their the ones from Pittsburgh. I think too many Jack Sparrow movies and Renaissance Faire nerds ruined pirates for me forever.

Didnt one of the set interview say something about Superman being forced to make hard choices ?
I wonder what the choices are ?

I wouldnt mind if they never introduced Metallo or Kryptonite at all.
they could always Metallos heart be powered by something else .

I'm guessing some kind of choice that has consequences for humans vs kryptonian heritage. Or Destroy this city to stop them from destroying more.

I would be fine with Metallo in a sequel with Luthor behind it all. But I want Darkseid and I want Doomsday. I know tons of people on here probably dont agree but ever since I saw the animated Superman Doomsday then read the comic arc, I have wanted to see that in live action. Or Darkseid and his freaking OMEGA BEAMS. Thats the great thing to me about Supes and again some would disagree but there are a ton of villains that can be thrown at him!:bdh:

I can see doomsday, maybe not the death of arch, but definitely a form of dooms. IDK i think its kind of hard to pick a villain for the sequel, when we all really don't know what kind of world MOS is going to be. Obviously its with people with super powers, but I think once we all see it, I think it'll be easier for us to imagine how things would work, and come up with some great ideas.
