I'd be afraid regardless, I just feel like Snyder would personally, physically kick my ass.

Then I'd find out it was Nolan's plan all along. :p

:hehe:

Nolan might appear like gentleman, but he's British. Give him a pint and he'll probably start knocking some heads together.

Whats with all the Flash talk?

Nothing, someone earlier said how cool he would look with Snyder Slow-Mo after expressing disappointment that there wouldn't be ANY, not even a little bit of Snyder Slow-Mo in the film, and then we started talking about Flash here a little bit.

Subject was dropped then I brought it up again to illustrate my point that I think Goyer isn't that great a script writer on his own because his script for The Flash left a lot to be desired, IMO. We were talking about Jonah Nolan's involvement on MOS (of hypothetical involvement...??)

Calling to check in once or twice a week is about as uninvolved as a producer can be, outside of literally having nothing to do with filming at all.

If Jonah Nolan helped with the script then I am beyond thrilled. Goyer needs someone to balance him, he is a great ideas man, but that's about it, IMO. On his own he's not so great, his Flash script is proof of that (Turtle Man as the villain, and he has him kill Barry Allen no less? Really?), IMO.

I think having Jonah involved is a fantastic thing.

I hope it's true too, but who knows we may never know for sure. Just wanted to point out that I definitely remember some whispers about it right before production started.

Not trying to start a "bash Goyer" fest here either, but I agree- he's a great ideas man and a...competent writer. I think dialogue in particular is where Jonah shines and can give a screenplay that extra layer of snappiness and polish.

Hey does anyone know if Snyder's got some irish in him? Seems like to me, idk though. lol

from the goyer interview

" I mean, first it was me and Chris and then it's been me, Chris and Zack, but I'll be honest, I thought once Chris started shooting "The Dark Knight Rises," that that would be the last we'd heard of Chris until they wrapped. But, I'd been on the phone with Chris a shocking amount given the fact that he's shooting that other movie. I mean, sometimes a couple of times a week he'll be on the set talking to me. He very much continues to be involved almost on a daily basis, much to his dismay. I mean, because it's killing him. He'll be relieved when that movie stops filming."

I remember hearing that too. I remember reading about how the third act had some problems or they had trouble with it.

Agreed.

Does anyone have the an idea what this special ability/purpose of the suit is? I know it's a skin suit used by Kryptonian explorers. Has there been any hint as to what's so special about it, or how it's explained?

For the record I'm not bashing anyone, I think this is the perfect team to take on superman

I am so confused... I read something that said he would call Goyer a couple of times a week... did I miss the part where it was said he was actually on set doing director stuff?

I thought Cavill hadn't even met him?

A theory of mine is that perhaps the suit is somehow linked (shares a connection; in a sense where maybe Superman can even operate certain functions of the ship with the suit) with the Scout Ship that crashed on Earth eons ago.

Sometimes in life things just come together an click, Snyder, Nolan, Goyer, etc. All have strengths and weaknesses, but when it comes all together, it really is something. I think this may be the case with MOS. I surely hope so anyways.

Speculation has ranged from Nanotech, protection from impact or injury, and the fear that it helps Superman fly.

I think he meant Nolan was on the set of TDKR, calling calling Goyer on the MOS set.

Minus polar bears and giant spiders I think that is the silliest thing ever. The suit helps him fly:)

It doesnt sound that way to me, but I dont care either way...this thing looks marvelous. nolan and snyder both could have directed it for all I care.
If its a huge hit, they'll all deserve equal credit. same if its a bomb.

That's what I'm thinking...I hope that it's not the case. But I fear it is...oh well

I have faith that those guys wouldn't do that. Superman can fly because he is Super not because his suit is.

I really don't think it will help him fly. Faora clearly flies at one point. But I guess we will see in a couple weeks

I honestly have a hard time buying that they'd allow Superman to keep all of his other powers in tact and yet give one of his most iconic powers a major tweak and say that he can't fly without the suit.

If it helps him fly, it would help them all fly. And so far, we've only seen Zod and co jump. I could be wrong, but I don't think it has anything to do with flight; hopefully

I dont for a minute think the suit helps him fly.

It would be an idiotic decision of the highest order to essentially turn Superman into Iron Man. It's not happening. I won't believe it until I see it will my own two eyes.

No point in worrying on it. It is what it is. However, I cant deny the fact that if they had a suit that helped me fly I would be all over that s***!
