Dat product placement. But seriously, great gifs(especially the third one).
@the_moviebob

guys, do you think the people in Smallville will know Superman is Clark??
I mean, it's kind of obvious when an alien craft lands in Martha Kent's front lawn and then they threaten her and trash the place.
also, I'm sure they'd remember young Clark saving the bus and older Clark saving people from the tornado.
don't you think they'd recognize that man in the weird outfit walking down the street to confront Faora and Nam-Ek as Clark??!!
Sure some of them will recognise him. But soon after the tornado Clark skipped town so it will be some years before they have seen him. And with the biggest thing in human history happening (real life alien beings) being a reality everybody would loose focus of it anyway and presume they have all just arrived. Mind due Zod's message says "shelted for some time". Pete Ross and Lana Lang know that Clark has super powers
"Oh nawww, I bet Nolan snatched the camera from Snyder's cinematographer and intentionally jerked it so he can sabotage the comic bookyness with his realism!!!
Waaaahhh!!!! Waaaahhh!!! I bet Nolan is responsible for the SEARS product placement too.
Waaaaahhh!!! Waaahhh!!!!
- irrational Nolan haters.

I hope WB separates from him soon...he's taking all the fun out of comic book movies and making them realistic and OVERLY serious. You make a movie serious and still make it fun...start making comic book movies, not movies where comic book characters exist in the real world

Probably not until a sequel if at all ... maybe Pete & Lana are involved with Lex like they was in some comics with Lana & Lex Corp and government stuff with Pete. Who knows. It would make things interesting for Superman.I wonder if we will see an adult Pete Ross and Lana Lang........
If that were the case then Kryptonians would be able to fly on Krypton as well, but judging by what we know, they clearly can't on their own.
You mad? Making Fantastic Comic Book Characters like Superman exist in a hyper realistic world is a miles better cinematic experience. To me The Avengers felt like a TV Movie.
That's fine and all ... but find someone who can good films with DC characters (maybe Snyder is one) ... it's hard to get away from your cash cow, whose format and style has made billions. This is the style that's currently making DC 'different' than Marvel.
You're entitled to your opinion but![]()
Batman movies. He doesn't control the comic book film industry.
For me, Nolan is the "mama bird" of DC at this point. I want him to transition out of his position for CBM, but am rather grateful for the TDK trilogy and EXTREMELY optimistic for MOS. As for the rather serious tone, at this point, it's what DC does best at. Every time they TRIED to make a popcorn flick since the 2000's, critics and audiences have lashed out at them. Sure it probably has to do with the films' quality in and of themselves, but DC would be taking a missed opportunity of creating deep cinematic experience as opposed to the 'light' Marvel films.
So yeah, I want him aboard Wonder Woman, but barely, and don't want him influencing more pure comic-bookish movies like World's Finest and Justice League. He's a skilled storyteller, but he's not fond of the genre. Goyer's fond of the genre, but doesn't generally do well alone. And Snyder can bring all the "money shots" fans want while adhering to Goyer's and Nolan's world.
SO MUCH POTENTIAL!![]()
Listen here, if it were up to WB Chris Nolan would be the Godfather of all DC's properties. Like it or not, he's the reason Batman is once again a hot commodity and why Superman is back with a thump. Be grateful, and stop acting like a whiny typical fanboy who thinks he knows better.
Finally at home...now on to gif'ing dat featurette, Kane style.
Honestly, I don't think there is anything worse that a movie company could do than listen to the ideas of the nerds online ... we will go regardless, if they cater every movie to us, it could be ugly for the wider general audience. Need people working on the film who know comic lore ... and can relate it to everyone.Maybe Lord Nolan doesn't know what's best....
The fans who have been READING the comics for YEARS who know these characters inside and out know these characters better than Nolan. I was glad to hear Roven say that the producers actively read places like this and take our ideas into mind for future installments
just tired of Nolan and everyone worshiping the ground he walks, or hovers above...
WB firing Nolan? Funny, very funny. Right now they're begging the guy not to ditch their studio after they fired his friend Alan Horn last year.
Maybe Lord Nolan doesn't know what's best....
