Do you guys think we'll get a different clip on Kimmel tonight?

Everyone needs to calm down a bit. Making generalizations on both sides is quite frankly ridiculous. Condemning reviewers for their opinions is silly and so is generalizing all posters as this hive mind lynch mob.

I recommend everyone to have their wits about them and conduct themselves civilly. That goes for everyone!
This happening? I did not foresee this at all.

Reviewers. Boooooooo. 'Kicking & Screaming' is currently sitting at like 40% on RT. Still one of my favorite Will Ferrell movies.

The ringers are classic. :woot:

[BLACKOUT]Another weird choice that seems confirmed by those posting in the review thread is Kal-Els rocket will be sent days before Krypton's destruction. So we won't get the iconic visual of the rocket speeding away from the exploding planet (at least one would presume).[/BLACKOUT]
Feel like this has been the prevailing idea since the third trailer, so not much surprise here.

DaJanksta, post a nonspoilish review on TMOS Non Spoiler Review and Discussion. http://forums.superherohype.com/showthread.php?t=459097

And save the spoilery stuff for the Speculation thread ;)

Yeah, that is what I'm hoping for. Hopefully we'll get a thumbs up, thumbs down or a score out of 10. I like coming here, and It is the spoiler forum after all, but I don't want to know the specifics of the movie. also some people forget (or simply don't care) to use spoiler tags.

Kitchen Nightmares, the Gordon Ramsey show?

What are you referencing?

Yes, Gordon Ramsey's Kitchen Nightmares. The season finale was about Amy's Baking Company. The owners are the perfect example of delusion fanboys and girls. Look it up if you haven't seen it.

I wanna see what she's like when she's fighting for the story in the beginning, before she finds out she doesn't want to expose him.
Haven't we seen a quick snippet of this?

Slightly yeah, in the 13 min featurette. But that's the scene I wanna see in full :D

I haven't watched that show in a long time.
Which is understandable. It really got back on track this season though, especially the second half. Almost as good as the original British version.

If nothing else, look up the owners of Amy's Baking Company.

That episode was priceless. The denial was overwhelming.
I want to see them watching the episode. It has to be a trip. They can't possibly watch that and think they are anything other then in complete denial. But then again, they are in complete denial so they probably try and rationalize it.

Perfect example of fanboy mentality.

I'm just hoping it's a good film.

Boy are the mods going to have their work cut out for them...

me too , even if people will call me crazy i liked TASM and i think is a good film but is flawed , so i think MoS could be great film but again maybe flawed....but then i may like it as much as i liked TASM or more

can´t wait :)

The difference is that the comparison point for TASM was Spider-Man which had released a mere 10 years ago and was a good movie which most people in the general audience remembered watching in the theater. The 2 movies covered a lot of the same ground.

The comparison point for MoS should ideally be Superman and Superman 2, but most people in the general audience will not have seen them in the theater (seeing how they are over 30 years old). The nearest point of comparison will go to "Superman Returns", so as long as MoS is better than SR the general audience sentiment towards this movie should be better.

That is a great point. I wonder, since SR was received so poorly the Man of Steel has no where to go but up up and away :) I am rambling, can not wait for the movie. Hope you gents watching it tonight play the lotto. Double wammy there :)

I prefer TASM, but that is because I don't like Raimi's first Spidey film all that much.
