Wow. Such an awesome announcement... I was just complaining the other day about how I was dying for some kind of direction for the DCU and the comic gods have answered.

That seems like speculation. A guestimate if you will, considering BvS will lead straight into JL.

I don't think it is because of the rumor about when Aquaman shows up in the film. Every rumor we've read has said that they basically assemble at the end of this film because of something...which leads to JL.

If this film is mostly about Bats and Supes with Diana in the mix, yet we know the actors playing Aquaman and Flash THIS early in comparison to their solo films, what do you think it points to?

Cameo in BATMAN V SUPERMAN, which leads to full on JL minus Lantern.

That is indeed strange. It seems likely though that BvS and JL will be shot in quick succession. So considering that we get Batman, Superman, Wonder Woman and likely cameos from Aquaman, Cyborg and Flash, it would be weird for BvS to then be followed by a solo WW film.

Perhaps WW follows JL? The official press release only gave the year, not exact date.

I'm kinda surprised that, aside from BVS, none of the major DCU films (as in JL and WW pics) are in the off-season spots, but in usual summer spots.

Not that Cyborg and The Flash aren't big, but I expected WW and JL2 to land the spring 2018 and 2019 spots.

More puzzling is that they haven't assigned the specific dates to the movies (Suicide Squad is a certainty for August 2016), but I guess they haven't finalized all of them.

Yeah we already got a film with Superman doing nothing but lifting things in order to save people along with iconic types of shots in 2006. I'm glad that the people who wanted just that got it but I'm more happy that I got a film thay satisfied me in 2013 because I'm obviously the most important audience member to myself.

That's exactly what I'm saying. You stated that Devin's sources 'confirmed' the JL lines up at the end of BvS, whereas it's more likely that he's merely stating the most likely scenario.

Heh, good joke, but for real, **** that horrible idea.

Hal Jordan is a vastly superior character with by far the most solo movie potential of any Green Lantern.

Bring on Hal Jordan. Barry Allen is already confirmed, I think we're getting Hal Jordan as well.

Seriously just look at the lineup, i think we're getting the New 52 lineup. I'm prepared to be wrong, but how earth shatteringly disappointing that would be.
