Realized another "first" in the WB/DC slate. The first movie starring Villains as the heroes. Before Thunderbolts and before Sinister Six, we will get Suicide Squad.

This is definitely ambitious, but I will have to see it before I believe it. I like the Flash being a bit younger then the rest. The biggest shock for me was the placement of the JL film in Nov. I really hope they get the right Harley for the Suicide Squad film.

I am truly bewildered by the negative reception this news is getting.

Why didn't WB make a huge deal out of this? Hm. Probably has something to do with the fact that the first film in this line-up, Batman v. Superman, is still 1.5 years away. Half of these projects don't even have screenwriters or directors yet. Why would WB spend money on a huge announcement when half of these projects and release dates are subject to change?

WB makes a huge announcement laying out their DC projects for the next FIVE YEARS, and people's immediate reaction is "Well why didn't they do it like Marvel?" ****ing ridiculous. Damned if they do, damned if they don't.

Justice League is a TWO parter. You never know. And J'onn in alien warrior mode should most likely be a mockup/cgi thing like Groot, so casting for that could wait too. I know, slim odds but there is wiggle room here for hope. If I don't see MM in a film I still think a tv show could be grand.
