I believe they said they have plans for solo Batman and Superman movies in that time period...just not scheduled. If I had to plan it they'd appear in the spot between JL One and JL Two

The press release read: "at least 10 movies—as well as stand-alone Batman and Superman films—from 2016 through 2020 that expands this prized universe of characters"

That means, according to WB, we WILL see a Batman movie and a Superman movie in that time frame.

Basically The New 52 line-up.

It's not bad, truth be told. I'd love to see Martian Manhunter and Hawkgirl pop up though.
I could rant so long about lack of Martian Manhunter .... :(

The WB keeps sitting on a gold mine and doesn't even know it :o

What if in the first JL Brainiac comes to Earth to gather all of Earth's knowledge and strategies then is defeated. Then in the second JL he shares the information with Darkseid so Darkseid can attack already knowing how to conquer Earth. But GL already warned the JL about Darkseid so they too have been preparing for war.

Iron Patriot and Falcon is different than Cyborg LEADING a movie.

From the WB press release

And, in a massive expansion of the Studio’s DC Entertainment-branded content, Warner Bros. Pictures and New Line Cinema will release a slate of at least 10 movies—as well as stand-alone Batman and Superman films—from 2016 through 2020 that expands this prized universe of characters:

“Batman v Superman: Dawn of Justice,” directed by Zack Snyder (2016)
“Suicide Squad,” directed by David Ayer (2016)
“Wonder Woman,” starring Gal Gadot (2017)
“Justice League Part One,” directed by Zack Snyder, with Ben Affleck, Henry Cavill and Amy Adams reprising their roles (2017)
“The Flash,” starring Ezra Miller (2018)
“Aquaman,” starring Jason Momoa (2018)
“Shazam” (2019)
“Justice League Part Two,” directed by Zack Snyder (2019)
“Cyborg,” starring Ray Fisher (2020)
“Green Lantern” (2020)

So can people still say that WB aren't utilizing their DC library of characters properly?

Between Film, TV, Video Games and Animation... they are holding pretty true to their promise. :yay:

Announcements are all well and good, hopefully they follow through with it. They haven't exactly been very good at meeting their release dates.

And we all know from how ASM2 went that future plans can very quickly fall by the wayside. Just keeping things in perspective.

Fingers crossed this all works out.

They are still be criticized online right now. It'll never go away.

Hey roach, do you have a link? Just woke up, too excited to search for this release. Thanks!

I find it funny that most of the comments about Ezra are the same ones people said about Gustin...people shut up when they saw the work...people will shut up when they see the movies.

Do you guys think Brainiac would still be called "Brainiac" if he was in a live action film?

Can't wait until the Goyer makes a podcast citing how silly the Brainiac name is in jest. Brainiac is awesome.
