Yeah you guys are right. May with Avengers seems the most likely.

If it were earlier it would be amazing but May is looking like the date.

The only reason why I feel it may be earlier than May is because the way Tsujihara was describing WB's 2 billion a year aggressive marketing strategy. This leads me to believe they may even strike earlier than May.

I think Man of Steel's teaser came out in late July of 2012 and that film came out in early June of 2013.

BvS comes out March 25 2016, I don't see the teaser coming out before late March 2015. I absolutely think there is no chance of a trailer in February, I do hope that I am wrong though.

Different times ISS. Tsujihara's marketing plan is completely different from what they've done in the past.

We'll see I suppose. They've already been fairly aggressive in what they've shown with this movie and it's still a ways off.

I understand what he said Craig but I still don't think that means that we are going to get a teaser in February.

Next year will see a very aggressive push marketing-wise by the studio. I believe it will start early and that it will be intense and long before the movie debuts in March 2016, the saturation will be wide-spread. Like many marketing-campaigns the studios under-take, they will be focusing upon multiple platforms.

I just hope they don't over saturate us with trailers like TASM2 :csad:

Warner Brothers now knows how to market their comicbook movies, I'm not worried about that at all. They even got Green Lantern to a 53 million dollar opening weekend in 2011.

Out of all the studios I also feel that WB has the best track record in smart marketing.

Hell they convinced me Terminator: Salvation was going to be incredible with their trailers. :funny:

Funny thing is that film's opening week was very disappointing.

In terms of saturation I think its going to be huge. Unlike anything recently WB has done for their superheroes on the big screen. I expect there will be many trailers, teasers, television spots. Long before the movie actually bows in theaters, I would not be surprised that many of the secrets of the movie have leaked out long before. Just look at the number of spoilers already, and that station getting the person to talk about their experiences. There have been so many people involved, and so many people know what is going to happen that the temptation will be enormous.

Even now I've seen some fans saying the coverage is too much, that by the time the movie comes out people will be tired of hearing about it, but WB knows this movie needs to be massive at every level, and so we will see a huge push from the studio, not just across multiple platforms long before the movie is released but also a very aggressive consumer push towards merchandising.

Yeah that's a good point. Man of Steel's marketing was amazing.

Yeah they weren't that great..
I did like the handcuff one but they over used it so it got boring.
My favourite "poster" is this -

The only poster I liked for MOS was the international one-sheet poster. I think I got two copies, both of them are still rolled in the tube.

I still watch it on occasion.Lets hope for better posters this time.

WB's poster artwork has been lacking for a long time -- like back to 2002, with a few exceptions. (I remember loving the artwork for BB and Pacific Rim.) We need more hand-drawn posters, like the Drew Struzan posters of the 1980s.

Paul Shipper is a Struzan protege, and his poster work is amazing. He did his own GOTG, MOS, and CA:TWS posters... and all three look better than 99% of the actual posters by Disney and WB. I have no doubt his poster for BVS would be amazing.

Actually, WB has been handling secrecy with this and the other DC projects like a boss. Leaks? You mean most likely made up BS rumors? Some out of context blurry BTS snap shots? Fake scripts? Sorry those that want to push an agenda of some kind, but no... Ya'll are just plain wrong. We have very little that we can definitively say about BvS now, and I suspect that pattern is going to hold for awhile. Did anyone at expect the announcements this week? The casting that was done totally below radar? Again... If this pattern holds, then no, people won't be sick of the film once the full court ad press happens.

Correct again sir.

Correct again sir.

There is someone pushing an agenda with every post he puts up practically. I'm just letting them know that REALITY (especially the reality of the last two days) has a bias against them. Cavill is going to be re-cast? Gadot is a place holder actress and won't star in the solo? There won't be any solo Superman and Batman films? As Kevin Spacey would say, "WRONG!"

Now we are seeing people post about WB being on the brink of being bought out? By who? Murdoch again? Disney? This person doesn't say or back their claims up with a shred of proof. I am guessing for good reason... That they are bankrupt of any actual evidence.
