David Wenham for George Harkness/Capt Boomerang

As an Australian I will accept no actor that isn't Australian.

Now that I think about it Wenham would make an amazing Green Arrow also.

And yet you still, paradoxically, stated that you wouldn't go see WW in the theater, and you sure as he'll didn't say it was because of the cast or people involved this time. You flat out said you had no interest. Again... THIS is why so many think of you as some kind of stealth troll who holds contrarian position (which seem to change at the drop of a hat) all to bait people, rile them up or what ever.

It's like when you were insisting Aquaman had to have blond hair because you insisted on total comic book accuracy and that was a big reason you disliked the Mamoa casting. Myself and others were like, "Well, they could always dye it." You were oblivious to that obvious answer. Then, not a few posts later you insisted that the Atlanteans simply must be aliens despite everyone else pointing out that they could just be as they are in the comics no problem. So... What happened to your slavish need for not deviating from the source? You didn't come off as a fan with a nuanced approach, you just came off like someone wanting to make people tear their hair out. zryson... Sometimes in life the problem isn't other people. It's us. After all, we are the only common denominator of all our experiences. Your willfully obtuse attitude doesn't get a pass just because you think you are expressing it in some sort of overly cheery manner, frankly it just makes you seem disingenuous. From the start, with your "oh, I have connections to the industry and know scoops" thing, to claiming to have detailed files on the financial history of various entertainment projects and having friends send you "tapes" of all of Gal Gadot's performances, to always telling people to look on the internet when they challenge you about anything... You reek of disingenuous-ness. That's the problem, to the point, I'm sorry to say, that I don't believe even this story about you growing up in an orphanage. I think you revel in the attention more than anything, which is a shame because I know just from other comments you've made that you probably are a knowledgeable super hero fan. You'd just rather put on this strange act rather than come here and honestly deal with any of us in an above the board manner. That IS the impression you've given us from the start, even if the biographical peek you just gave is true.

Nail on the head.

Yes, to me it would feel like a repeat of Reynolds' Green Lantern. A lot of "nononononononono."

Also Green Lantern needs to be creative.

Shia might get sued for plagiarizing his ring constructs. :cwink:

No, not really...it's a small community

That can make it hard to meet other fans. I remember as a child traveling around a lot and sometimes the areas where I lived were small communities. Still these days there is the Internet and that in many ways makes it easy to communicate with other fans, I really like meeting new fans and chatting with them because they are so passionate and interesting and every fan is special.

Nail on the head.

Not really. When people analyze other members, it usually tells you more about them and their way of thinking than the members they might be discussing. And really that's not what the thread is for.

Not to mention completely dodging people call him out on his act.

Thank you for educating me.

Another pic from New York comic con I found on the web

Again with your "another pic I found on the web" non sense. Who calls it the web anymore btw?

And NextNolan you're right. He dodges things non stop.

I'll definitely miss Martian Manhunter in the JL line-up. He was the only "inhuman" in the team, kind of a Hulk equivalent. They could have gotten really imaginative with his shapeshifting and whatnot. Hopefully he plays a part in JL pt2, who knows.

It has nothing to do with 'dodging things' as some people claim but like anybody else there are certain people I like talking with, and others I dont and I prefer to concentrate on other fans who's posts I enjoy.

Did you really see the Gal audition tapes?

Oh lawd.

So during this time no other batman or superman films?

What's this about auditions? All I have said in the past (which some people like to keep going on about, but that's up to them) is that when it comes to actors, sometimes I ask friends in the industry to send me their various films/performances if I have trouble tracking them down myself. It comes in handy for many obscure films or television series.
