I think it was considering AV2 is only a matter of months away. Reportedly its one of the best films yet according to one of the stars.

If one of thet stars said it, it's obviously a fact. :shr:

I am actually looking forward to it, but just not nearly as much as JL or BvS.

It will be interesting to see how the movies fare. As an article on Bloomberg stated Warner Bros is under pressure with its parent Time Warner Inc. to boost revenue and profit which is why we are seeing this concentrated push from the studio.

Every company in the world is under pressure to boost sales and revenue.

Every company in the world is under pressure to boost sales and revenue.

The pressure is definitely on in business, its high stakes all the way. And like sites such as Entertainment Weekly, Forbes etc ask, what happens when these movies dont work out? Because its like a domino effect upon everything else.

I prefer old school

Was chatting with a friend earlier who told me the latest issue of SFX Magazine has some articles on Batman (also Arrow TV series.) For Batman, there is a 75th anniversary feature titled "Dark Knights" which is eight pages long and has interviews with Jim Lee, Geoff Johns, Scott Snyder (among others.) There is also an interview with legendary Adam West.

The interview with Adam West makes for fun reading; some of the questions he was asked was "What do you think makes Batman so timeless and popular?" "There's a real resurgence of interest in your Batman right now. Why do you think that is?" and "What would you have in your own ultility belt?" That's not to say the interviews with Miller, Lee, Snyder etc arent interesting too, one of the questions they were asked was "Who's the most underrated Batman creator?"

BTW thanks for answering Eggyman!

Simple educated guess : Following the rumors that Brainac is the big baddy appearing at the end of B v S, what if he is Benedict Cumberbatch ?... :woot:

If the rumors are true (and as we have seen, several of them are), maybe Brainiac is the villain for Justice League: Part One and then Darkseid is the villain for JL: Part Two. That would leave Doomsday (who is rumored for being the villain along with Luthor for Batman v Superman.)

Ben Affleck says Bvs is shaping up brillantly, so i guess, here goes all negativity :o :woot:

Hi Naked bat!

It is throught (by many) that negativity is bad for the health, so thanks Ben Affleck

That's great news Maze (about Affleck's comment.) Hopefully the movie will be a resounding success!

Hi Zryson!

You're welcome!

Well, you know it is throught (by many) that the movie will be a success either way, so if it is really good, it will be a resounding success!

Great times!

likewise z-man, quite a day indeed, that DC announcement really caught me by surprise.

The DC announcement definitely generated a lot of traffic. I've been chatting with friends on other sites and there's been a tremendous response to the news. Its actually difficult sorting through all the replies because of the amount of people talking about it but it makes for very interesting reading.

I've been reading man without fear and born again... again. Both are really great read. That miller chap knew how to write a story back then.

Miller is awesome. I think as the movie nears you will see values sky-rocket for his earlier stuff.

Has anyone else noticed that the tides seem to be changing? I've noticed a massive increase of people on DC's side today.

I really havent noticed much in terms of the tide changing. But in terms of posts, its been overwhelming - some sites have seen thousands of replies to the announcement. Sorting through them is a little overwhelming but I'm having some great conversations with other fans.

He did write some wonderful stuff. His stuff on Daredevil is simply amazing imo. But as much as I love TDKR for what it is, I hope Batman's characterization in the movie won't take it as an inspiration.

I hope they take inspiration from TDKR for BvS. But I hope he has an arc and gets back in the grove of things.
