I think he is a great director who can create wonders, but I will never be happy with him again if I never see Hellboy III. :o

As a big Hellboy fan, it's not del Toro's fault for no Hellboy 3. After Universal I believe greenlighted Hellboy 2 during production, they told del Toro they won't do a Hellboy 3. Hellboy 2 happened because of the Oscar nominations and wins from Pan's Labyrinth. After Hellboy 2, del Toro seemed Hellboy out as did Perlman problem because of the stress of making Hellboy 2 & the fact del Toro & Perlman helped out with Hellboy animated movies & a video game. It wasn't until the Make A Wish Hellboy kid came along where both del Toro and Perlman seemed rejuvenate. Del Toro has said he wrote a screenplay and pitched it to numerous studios but no one will do it for a suppose 120 million needed budget.

The president of Legendary and del Toro have a good relationship and said he would like to see Hellboy 3.

Here's what I truly believe. Hellboy 3 will happen. Del Toro is close to Legendary. Since Legendary is gone for WB, they want a franchise since they can't reley on Batman or Superman. Pacific Rim made some money and Legendary is using that to launch themselves as their first franchise from WB. Del Toro said he's working on a sequel to Pacific Rim along with a cartoon series for Pacific Rim. If del Toro helps out Legendary, Legendary will likely help out del Toro and help produce Hellboy 3 ending the Hellboy Trilogy as long as Pacific Rim 2 and the animated series does well.

People want Hellboy 3. Perlman says he keeps bugging del Toro for it. Del Toro just needs another hit and Hellboy 3 can happen. I feel it will and plus when you look at the superhero genre, it is the right time for a Hellboy film.

:hehe:

Seriously, he needs to keep himself in check with this stuff…getting fanboys riled up just to disappoint is a put off. After Pacific Rim he's been taken down a few notches in my book anyway.

I liked Pacific Rim just fine, it's his [blackout]Dracula ?[/blackout] in The Strain that had me SMH.

^I like the art.
Hope the costume looks this good.

I feel the same way about Pacific Rim as the obsessive haters feel about Man ofi Steel, difference is I don't haunt the Pacific Rim 2 thread because I don't give a ****.

There is a picture of him with a great likeness to Ali somewhere. Ya, I think I'm going to dig him as Cyborg

Gone seem the days in which every dcu character announcement was met with 'over stuffed' and rushed. Nice to see a more appropriate response to what is seemingly good news.

Ezra Miller.

He just seems like the kind of actor who has a tween-cult following in Tumblr. If not right now, then definitely by 2018.

I think he'll blow us away. He's got something I can't explain. Same thing I personally felt when Heath Ledger was cast as Joker.

We have about 5 castings where it's gonna be compared to Ledger.

How bout we get one that we all will love?

Casting alone shouldn't make you 'love' the choice. Obviously the performance is the important factor.

Screw Hellboy, you already got two!

I want my Lovecraft!!! :argh:

Well said.

So many times people loved the choice, it was "the perfect" casting... and then it flopped.

I notice a lot of people are actually fine with the Ezra Miller casting, especially since Grant Gustin got the same criticisms when he was cast for CW. Also, haven't heard too many criticisms of the Momoa and Ray Fisher casting either.

I'm not blown away by Gustin (he is alright so far though) and see more potential in (subliminal name in subconcious replaced) Ezra acting wise, so easy to give him a chance.

George Miller should sign on to one of these. Given his WB relationship I have my fingers crossed.

Didn't know Levi was in this movie. He must have beat out Aaron Paul for the role :woot:
