I wish MBJ hadn't signed on to play Torch, he fits Cyborg the way Hiddleston fits Loki and Cavill/Superman. John Boyega should get a shot at the role though.

John Jones is the secret identity of Jon Jonnz of Mars and it always has been seen as a black guy in the comics.

J'onn J'onzz was voiced by Carl Lumbly, a black actor. MM's casting should mostly be based on voice, Carl Lumbly could play the live action MM too....that'd be so awesome

Though he was seen as white, black, and asian in various episodes. MM's race isn't really an issue with his whole shapechanging thing.

Detective John Jones has only been recently portrayed as a black man in the comics. John Jones is voiced by Carl Lumbly and also is a black man in the animated Justice League Doom.. But usually John Jones is a white man

His race is pretty irrelevant though, being a Martian shapeshifter haha

Yeah true. I hope it does though. Dwayne Johnson GL franchise actually has a chance for success.
Cyborg, John Stewart, The Flash, Aquaman and Robin/Nightwing have all been heavily rumored to be in this film. I wouldn't be surprised if Superman, Batman, Wonder Woman, Aquaman, Nightwing, Cyborg, John Stewart, and The Flash was our Justice League. Those are the characters that DC seems to have been focusing most on anyways since the New 52 began. Well, aside from John Stewart. I'd personally add Martian Manhunter to that lineup and spin off Cyborg and Dick Grayson into their own Teen Titans movie, and your DC cinematic universe is basically set up at that point

Yeah, with Rock attached, it's a pure win. But a part of me still sees WB going "Nope! No more Green Lantern".

Im not expecting Martian Manhunter. Aquaman...not in this movie. Maybe a scene in JL, but i dont want him to be a part of the team. Have him be a loner who makes an appearance, he helps them out only because his territory has been threatened somehow. Then he's off on his way. If fans react well to that scene, then give the guy a solo movie. Done. If Justice League gets a sequel (which im not anticipating) then bring him on board. If not, then it doesn't matter.

I have no idea what the hell they're doing with Dick Grayson.

Flash and Cyborg seem logical at this point. Younger actors. And im warming up to the idea of Dwayne playing a real physical villain instead. If he's announced as GL though, ill be pretty happy.

I meant the concept of a Black Robin under Burton's direction. I wouldn't have cared.

Loved what they did with Keaton.

I think the role is Robin. It would make more sense from a story point of view and it would make sense that Snyder would meet with Jordan about a bigger role like that, then Cyborg. Sure fanboys will be pissed, but they've complained about the casting of each of the new editions so its not like they're worried about fan backlash. Plus we have a black Perry White so , it wouldn't be out of the realm of possibility that we have a black Robin. Not saying Cyborg isn't a strong possibility but I wouldn't be surprised if it did turn out to be Robin.

This seems so stupid and facepalm worthy that these great heroes are going up against a parody of a great villain.

Hell even if anyone else isn't in the film, we still have the Trinity against him and it's still sad.
