I see the first meeting being less of a skirmish and more Batman feeling Superman's powers out, maybe just barely escaping in the end. The second fight will use whatever means of de-powering Superman they go with to make it a fair fight. After that, I'm assuming they team up to bring down Luthor's plan.

Aquaman has a lot of potential coupled with low expectations from the general audiences. If they make him great he could be huge. I hope they give his trident some of the properties it had in the Injustice games. Aquaman summoning lightning strikes is a change from source material I can forgive...unless he could at some point in the comics?

i don't remember what goyer said about mm, but a name and alter ego change isn't a bad idea. funnily enough, watching game of thrones, i've thought pedro pasca would be great as mm. or juan juanes if you would.

I don't have any strong feelings towards MM, so Goyer's comments don't really effect me. I don't mind if we never see the character on screen, but if we do, that's also fine by me.

The DNA faxing idea sounded cool.

I really liked it.
Building some creature from fossilized(alien) DNA from dead mars found with on one of the Rover trips, Jurassic Park/5th Element ish. leading into J'onn being held by the gov't as he so often is. Would be like reading an Elseworlds(flashpoint/redsun style).

Great opportunity imo. Especially given the state of things post Zod attack.
Would only be made cooler if it was Batman that found him. Infiltration style. Or perhaps he's been calling out to a certain alien.

That's a good point. Sometimes I think things like this should be done and it's improved other characters for different purposes. And who says Injustice isn't canon anyway. t:

I'm not really into Aquaman either. They try hard to make him cool nowadays, but he's still meh to me. I'd be fine if they included him though.

The one I'm hoping to see added is Flash and I'd be surprised if they didn't include him.

If that's the case it's fine as the 1st won't count as a 'nasty' confrontation. As long as they don't act stupid more than once each it'll be fine.

I can't quite picture it yet but that guy was absolutely awesome in GoT so I certainly wouldn't object. I really want to know what Goyer said now. It's kind of pissing me off even though I don't know what it is. t:

Two names we should pay attention to imo: Joe Manganiello and Matthew Goode.

Both Manganiello and Goode were finalists in consideration for both Superman and Batman.

Goode already worked with Snyder on Watchmen, and Manganiello was the number 2 pick for Superman after Cavill. This could be similar to the way Cillian Murphy was considered for Batman and was instead cast as Scarecrow.

I think there is a decent chance that Joe Manganiello will be Hal Jordan and Matthew Goode will be Barry Allen

This scene of Narnia made me think of Aquaman. And then, there are those effects in the Percy Jackson movies. An Aquaman movie could look amazing.

I like Goode, but Manganiello has always been unappealing to me.

Superman & Batman are my favourites (no surprise) ..the 10/10 guys of the JL. Then Wonder Woman & Martian Manhunter are joint 3rd for me in the whole DC universe.

Sure he will be. At the beginning of the film I don't think the main characters will know much about Batman but everyone will know of Superman and his actions will probably be painted badly in many quarters. Bruce Wayne/Bats will likely be going after him from the outset.

I can definitely see a scene with Bruce Wayne owning Clark. I have a feeling that Lois will interact a lot with both Lex and Bruce.

mags as hawkman makes more sense especially after the thanagarian reference in the mos prequel comic.

It's apparent that Snyder likes both Manganiello and Goode, and they also apparently gave good screen tests if he brought both of them back for Batman screen tests after their Superman screen tests.
