I'm tired of this bull****, with Arrow having two overall very strong seasons and Flash off to a great start with lots of promise I'm no longer gonna crap on something just for being on the CW, the network is maturing.

BTW, Amell denied the BvS rumore but not JL. Does that mean he will be cast as Arrow in JL?

Assuming the cast is announced at ComicCon. He referenced somethingnhuge and that would be huge.

Fits into my theory that Superman may not be in JL. I'm the only one here who thinks so but I will not be shocked if it happens.

If Arrow is added to the cast that is likely 7 not counting Supes. Too many when most are being introduced.

Add to that the heirs appealed to the Supreme Court 2 weeks ago. Their paperwork has been in works since January when they exhausted their last Circuit Court appeal. WB has been watching their filings in the lead up to he 6/20 formal appeal/rehearing request.

Not likely the Supremes take up the case but, if they do and grant the Shusters 50% of the rights. Well, the heirs would get a significant chunk of the JL film's profits it Superman was in it.

Its a hard call for WB. Unlikely to lose the rights but if they do a financial hit from perhaps their biggest film. JL films first half of next year and the Court won't decide, if they take the case, till July or so next year.

I see a lot of pieces falling into place. Including a diversion to make Metallo look like the villain. When it may indeed be Doomsday.

I know, call me crazy. We should know three weeks from tomorrow when the JL cast is expected to be announced.

On the "new" suit.

Much like the old. Not a big change. A hint it might be brighter which is good.

I don't like the lighting on Cavill's face. Make it look like he has aged a lot in 3 years since filming MOS.

Yet, in the supposed photo of Cavill as Clark, he looks a bit older but not a lot and not like in the suit reveal at all.

It may be a set photo. Cavill in real life looks more like the guy in the charity promo shot than in the suit reveal shot.

The issue of glasses? I suspect he does not wear them on set. But the hairstyle looks th same, sans the wetness, so I wonder how they will distinguish the two?

Or wille veryone know Clark is Supes? Lois and Smallville do so maybe Snyder will do away with that? Who knows?

A Metropolis TV series would be cool.

CW wanted to spin Smallville into a full-fledged Metropolis but, after 10 years, Tom and others not surprisingly wanted to move on.

If I were to do it, I'd have it Clark new to the city. Young and mostly into serious reporter/blogger mode. No L&C silliness. Appear as Superman rarely at first and maybe just a "blur".

I think it could work and especially if done in the tone Gotham seems it will be done.

Just positing a possible scenario.

Beyond that, now that these Smith/purposeful false script rumores from WB are out we have to go on actual pictures.

The flowers laid at Superman's wrecked statue can indicate pretty much one thing.

He dies at the end of the film or is presumed dead.

If the rumor is true they are filming back to back then for sure Snyder will do a cliffhanger.

But how do you introduce the JL in the JL film and carry forth the Doomsday arc?

No way they bring in imposter Supermen like the film.

Its a tall order and how is it resolved not using the middle arc of the comic DOS story?

It can be but in the limits of a 2 1/2 hour movie that introduces the JL that part of the story, DOS, would be short shrift. Far better to do it in a later film rather than force it into JL somehow. IMO.

How is Superman not being in Justice League possible? Have you bothered to take into consideration that the other project he has coming up MAY BE Superman related? Sure he was doing "The Man from U.N.C.L.E." but that's not going to interfere with him being in Justice League. I just don't see our reasoning here

I'd like if Supes had a part in forming the JL in addition to bat and WW. That can't happen in a DOS s/l leading into JL. Just saying.

If they go that route then JL should, as well as showing the team forming, show Supes in statis/the Fortress during this time also. Not just have him return w/o explication suddenly in the last half of the film. Devote screen time to what is going on in the Fortress as everyone assumes he is dead.
