BvS All Things Superman and Batman: An Open Discussion - - - - - - - - - - - - Part 81

Some people on here seem to just be counting down to 10am. Surely it's gonna be even longer as anything BvS will be right at the end.

I'm curious what they are going to do to be able to "win" comic con as Marvel have a whole panel for their big stuff. WB have what could be about 15 minutes as they already have 3 films scheduled.

DC won the the Con last year with just a simple reading from TDKR and a 10 second teaser with a cheap logo.

WHY THE HELL NOT CALL IT BATMAN: COURT OF OWLS??? Batman never fought Robin in the book. He and Dick had an argument but they never fought.

I think you will find in the lead-up to Batman v Superman there will be quite a bit of the vs. in various DC/Warner Bros product.

I'm assuming they mean Damien though. Since Batman and Son was the last film in the DC Animated canon?

True. Which since CC isn't a competition. Perhaps one can say a certain company won depending on how hyped fans got from what they offered. So it's the fans that have the chance of winning or not.

Yeah, but one of reasons that they won because it was a complete surprise.
This year, that is not the case .
Marvel is going to come with their own surprises this time .
Not saying they are going to win anything .
But it will be a bit more of a competition this year .

I will say the Age of Ultron teaser was better then the 5 second teaser for BvS but BvS announcement was bigger.

That was one of the top 3 trends on Twitter worldwide for like a week. Nothing last year is still being talked about like that announcement is.

I've really hated this new continuity between the animated films now. Why make these loose adaptions instead of just straight up adapting it. Because of this New 52 continuity now we'll probably never see these stories properly adapted now, stories like

Killing Joke
Knightfall
Long Halloween
Dark Victory

Or even JL films like Crisis on Infinite Earths.

This is probably the one time which I'm going to say ditch the continuity.
