i don't wan't to argue for the sake of arguing, and in fact on same degree, i agree, this is a reaction. BUT, let's not forget that Warner had a superman batman cross over in devellopement in one form or another, more than ten year ago. Then, justice league became a project in devellopement in 2008.

Even, more, They pratically invented the modern superhero movie that is the template for a lot of comic book movie with Superman. At last Batman Begins became at some degree the modern template ( even Favreau admitted influence)

So, yes they are hesitant, they had a lot of mistepts and failed projects, they look at the competition ( but they don't imitate their tone to begin) i will not say that they work solely as a reaction.

Depending on the solos. I frankly don't care if they announce Flash, Aquaman, and Wonder Woman solos.

What bugs me is after a team that Marvel does that's set in space, DC decides to do that with Legion of Superheroes who while they are on Earth are also cosmic.

Instead of maybe greenlighting Del Toro's JL: Dark.

Oh, I see, you're just mad that they didn't greenlight a movie that's probably never going to happen and instead you got rumors about LOSH.
